Clemson and Miami will play each other in the ACCCG so all should be good there.

Yeah, one of those teams should be gone.

If we run the table and get left out, then it’s time to start having serious discussions about Superconference:

Anyone else think the odds are pretty slim we beat Michigan and Ohio State ?
It certainly can be done and we have had past successes, but I get the feeling we are about due to give one away.
Seems like some fans think it's a foregone conclusion that we win out with all the final four talk, I just don't think it's in the cards

I feel like even if we play a great game, the powers that be want us to lose one so they won’t have to question why they are putting two loss teams over an undefeated Big Ten champion.

I really don't have a problem with the powers that be. Up to now, we have beaten no one. Our SOS has us 50th. Not the players fault, but it is what it is. Just as in the basketball tournament, strength of schedule is, and should be, part of the equation. If Wisconsin takes care of business they will get to the playoffs. They just don't pass the eye test yet

I hate that the "eye test" may factor into anything. Yeah it will probably all be sorted out. But as was said earlier in this thread an 8 team playoff with the power 5 winners and 3 wild cards makes sense.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

The 5/3 split for an 8 team playoff I think is inevitable. I don't know how quickly it will happen, but I do feel pretty confident that it will.

For this season, if we really do win out over Michigan and O$U, there's no way we won't be in. As said, one of Miami or Clemson is going to lose. And at that point, we'll have 3 wins over ranked teams. With an undefeated record, I just really don't think they'd leave us out.

I'm feeling good. I do still feel like we'll drop one of those two (if I'm being honest), but I feel like we do control our destiny about as much as we can. Win and we're in - that's what I'm believing.

Sure but Alabama didn't have a great SOS either prior to this week with MSU. Alabama was 41st last week and moved up to 23rd now.

If they win out they will get in no doubt, they wont leave an undefeated Big10 team out.

I don't expect them to beat Ohio St on a neutral field but it will be cool to watch them thinking we have a shot.

Bucky opens as a 7.5 point favorite over the Harbaugh's

We literally tried to give the Iowa game away and still won by 24 points.

If the defense plays like that consistently, they can beat anyone.

As of now, we'd be about a touchdown dog to OSU in Indy. That'll be the test. Not insurmountable, but tough.

And of course vs. Michigan is tough.

They actually opened as a 10 point favorite and it's dropped to 7.5

Yeah, if we can win out, I actually like our chances in the playoffs. Each team the rest of the way gives a different test. Michigan is similar to us, with probably a less potent attack but easily the best defense weve seen. Minnesota will ensure we can stay focused and get the job done in a road game where you know Minnesota would want to play spoilers. O$U gives us easily our greatest test on defense and they are probably just as good as anyone when focused.

I think the only wrench right now would be if Auburn beat Bama on the 25th.

As long as that doesn't happen and we win out, we are good. This Michigan game is HUGE!

I think that would drop Bama behind us assuming we win. Their SoS is barely higher than ours.

Could easily see the committee using previous history to help Alabama. Plus, it's on the road against the #6 team. If they play it close, I don't think they're going to drop very far.

I'm going to the Michigan game. First game at Camp Randall since I graduated. Hopefully, they won't **** the bed.
