Short week, don't know if any of the injured 7 will be back or if Bulaga will be ready to go . Really need Bakhtiari back. The team might choose to give everyone the extra long rest to get ready for at Dallas, at Minnesota coming up.

Color rush is stupid and so are Thursday night games.

Can't imagine Bakhtiari playing already, and that will be a problem against a very good front four. This is a bad matchup for our offense and the defense will need to play well again. They can get pressure with just four and that's always a problem. The sit back and run deep routes offense will not work, I just hope McCarthy realizes this and adjusts.
This is a game where they really need to go with short routes and leave Rip back there a lot to help block if Bhaktiari isn't playing, which I assume he isn't.
The defense needs to start forcing turnovers. We are getting nothing out of our safeties and that can't continue. We are 15th in giveaways right now with 4 but sitting -2 in differential, that is with Rodgers throwing some whacky picks. We are one of five teams that don't have an INT yet. Detroit has 8 of them.

Snap count for the defense. They sure played a lot of safeties.

Rollins barely playing. What a bust.

Well at some point they should probably just call josh jones a mlb because thats where he played all his snaps. Burnett also didn't play much or any actual safety splitting time at mlb and playing the nickle corner spot too. That move of him to nickle corner is intersting and I'm currious if that continues when house gets healthy.

Yeah, a healthy Rollins playing only 7 snaps may be the writing on the wall.

The crazy thing is that Rollins wasn't bad in 2015.

From a quality football due to no practice and safety standpoint, yeah, they aren't good.
As a degenerate gambler and football fan, it's more football. Color rush rules because why the **** not lol.

Neither was Randall. Their regressions after their rookie years are pretty frustrating.

I swear, our QB is going to get killed with McCray at RT. Murphy wasn't terrible at LT, but he doesn't inspire confidence, either.

Well, this should be easier than the Bengals game, right?.......Right?

While I thought murphy held up ok the first two weeks I thought he really struggled yesterday. I thought McCray was alright when he came in especially considering I don't think hes an NFL tackle.

Week 4, Thursday night, division opponents in this NFL- literally almost anything could happen in this game.
But, I expect we handle CHI pretty easily. As a running team without a dangerous QB, they should be a relatively good match-up for our defense.
They're only scoring 15.7 points a game so far (not really meaningful this early, but it matches the eye test certainly). 205 ypg passing. Their D looks great to me, but at home, I think we should be able to muster enough points to beat their 15.7 points, even with all our injuries on offense.

So many times Romo would say "you have to block SOMEBODY!". I'm sure Bakhtiari will be out one more game (hopefully one more game) and if Bulaga is out again we're in trouble again. It's one thing to get beat. It's another when you don't know who you're even suppose to be blocking. I get that some guys are playing out of their regular positions. But come on, you have to learn your assignments.

I actually thought McCray looked ok when he was in yesterday. Much better than Murphy. It did look like MM made some adjustments to get help for both Murphy and McCray in the second half yesterday. They're going to have to do that from the get go on Thursday if those are your starting tackles again this week.
If I had to guess, I'm betting that everybody that was out yesterday is going to be out for Thursday. The good thing is that if you can win on Thursday and make it out of that game healthy, a lot of those guys should be back for the following week against Dallas.

Gotta put Ripkowski in the backfield to chip if the replacement tackles continue to be turnstiles. We didn't see enough of that yesterday, and I'd rather limit the offensive game plan rather than getting the franchise killed.

I think we'll have a very limited gameplan unless it is deemed very necessary late in the game on Thursday. Get through this game while probably having to hold a lot of the key guys out that were just held out, get into the "half bye" and get some of those guys back for some big games on the other side of it.

Jones played really well to the point of when Brice comes back I think I would give his spot to jones. Jones gets more pressure when blitzing then all of our ILB's combined.
King played decent and it wasn't his coverage that gave up the green TD we were in a zone def.
Again HAHA made no plays his play maker ability is just no existent out there. Same with Burnett.
Need Daniels back for this one as the Bears running game is what killed the Steelers. Need all hands on deck for this one.

HaHa isn't Nick Collins but I'll give him more than 3 games to prove that he's still a consistent play-maker on defense. He was great last season. The problem is our corners are allergic to the ball when it's in the air. If the calling card of your defense is exotic blitz packages and shifting coverages, then failing to generate turnovers is a pretty big obstacle. We haven't had great "ball hawk" corners since Woodson and Tramon.
