Nerds at Bucky - 11:00 ABC

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Sat Sep 30, 2017 1:57 pm

These guys have given us trouble in recent years.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Apparently Fumagalli is not playing today. That is bad news.

"as fundamental is it gets, helmet right on the football"

as the replay shows the NU defender clearly going helmet to helmet on Taylor.

Taylor's combination of power, speed, and elusiveness is awesome. I refuse to put any limits on what he could achieve, including possibly being the best UW back ever.

That's a tough thing to ask but it would've been a smart play to knock that down instead of catching that INT.

Terrible possession for the offensive line.

That was a ridiculous sequence of playcalling. Maybe try giving the ball to your best offensive player?

This is one of the worst offensive line performances I've ever seen from Wisconsin.

Wonderful. Another potentially great season derailed by a **** loss to a mediocre Northwestern team.

Honestly don't know why Chris James plays if Taylor and Shaw are available.

Do we have other options besides Hornibrook? I was a fan of him last year and hoped he would grow but you can't have 3 TOs in this kind of game

Time for a new QB. Hornibrook is giving us nothing.

Why not go for it here? Chances are Northwestern isn't going to have enough time to get into FG range and the reward of getting a 1st down means you get yourself into FG range at minimum.

Please take out Hornibrook. He's even less mobile than normal with that bum knee, and when a team gets any pressure the floater balls are coming out.

Wisconsin's struggles against Northwestern the last 25 years when they've been the vastly superior program is one of the biggest mysteries of the universe, barely behind matter materializing from nothing.

Can our defense maybe get up and play inside leverage to stop these **** slants? That's pretty much the only passes they can and have needed to complete.
