We're gonna end up with one of Edmunds, Ward or James, I think.

I'm hearing whispers from my Packers camp we're moving up for Minkah. Don't know how to receive this tidbit.

I'd trade up for Landry.

Taven Bryan is a disaster imo. Looks amazing physically, looked terrible on all the game cut ups I saw. Super quick, not a football player. His measurables were so great, I watched everything I could.

Getting back into the 3rd should be little problem.if Gute wants to. They have the 1st pick of round four they could attach a 5th too and jump to near the top of the round.

They really gotta hope a guy Landry is there still when their selection comes up tommorow otherwise the pass rushing crop is going to be bone thin the next time they're on the clock

I was just thinking about this, but then I looked at PFF list of top 50 players available and decided that I'd actually be okay waiting it out depending on the cost to move up. I think Key will be there when we pick, but I'd certainly be okay with packaging some picks to get up for a chance at Landry too.

PFF on the Packers remaining needs:

We had cornerback as the Packers’ clear biggest need heading into Day 1 of the NFL Draft and after trading down, then back up, they addressed that need with Louisville cornerback Jaire Alexander. That leaves their top need now at guard, where Lane Taylor (68.7) and Justin McCray (40.4) are currently pencilled in as starters, with neither grading well in 2017. Should they consider trading up early in round two, UTEP’s Will Hernandez, our highest guard left on the big board could be a target.

Wouldn't be exciting but damn, Hernandez would be a great pick.

Hernandez is obviously the top G available, but at the cost of trading up I'm not sure that's what I'd want to do. He's going to be one of the first guys off the board; we'd have to give up our top 4th in addition to another 4th or 5th.

I'd rather stay put and use some of those third-day picks to get back into the 3rd and/or 4th round. I also like Braden Smith, who was awesome when Auburn beat the **** out of Georgia this year, and I saw him a couple other times too. He doesn't have the top-end ceiling it sounds like Hernandez has, but we probably could get him staying put.

At our 2nd there could be some highly rated corners still available. Would anyone else be in favor of a double dip? I would prefer a pass rusher but that may be slim picking where we are at. I don't want to go WR or OL this high.

Dont understand the Jackson hype now that Ive read more on him. He's a scheme specific guy who wouldnt fit with what Pettine does here.

I wasn't high on him in the 1st, but in the 2nd I'd take him in a heartbeat.

Iowa’s Jackson broke out with a huge season in 2017, not just leading all corners in overall PFF grade in 2017, but he had the highest grade we have seen from any of the corners in this class across their entire college careers. He allowed an NFL passer rating of just 36.5 when targeted on 91 passes, a lower mark than if the quarterback had just thrown the ball at the dirt every play instead. He is also extremely young at the position, having only moved to corner in 2015, so his potential is sky high.

From everything I have read Pettine wants to play more man to man so I dont see Jackson even being on the board right now.
