Saints can be scored on no doubt. Their offense is on a roll. Sure Hundley be under the microscope but out OL is in shambles again.

Let's go out and get this win.

Saints favored by 3.5

our defense will really need to show up if we want a shot at this one. I hope Pipkins suits up again as well. Thought he played with aggression and made some nice plays.

For a handful of weeks, I will be like a billionaire that wants to see what it's like to live as a middle class/lower middle class person. I'll be interested to watch the Packers to see what life is like without knowing a QB is going to save the season. After that, I'll probably cry.

This will give us yet another reminder why we can't take Rodgers for granted. Another year of his prime is lost. He's turning 34 in December. He's entering the twilight of his career. And while he's said otherwise, I'd be a bit surprised if he played as long as Brady with the physical toll his style has put on his body.

This is going to be our reality not that long from now. In a blink, we're going to be starting over with a relatively inexperienced QB who is replacing a legend. This will give us a preview of what to expect.

OL is in shambles and who knows on the secondary. This will be a loss. If we aren't going to make the playoffs (and I'd bet heavily against it), I hope we lose as much as possible. Give Rodgers more help for the last 5 or so years of his career.

Hot take: we'll lose this game because Drew Brees knows Dom Capers like the back of his hand and throws 4 TDs

Hundley plays better but is sacked a bunch cause 69 and 75 will probably be out

I'm as spoiled as anyone the past 25+ years having Favre/Rodgers back there most of the time. But I'll watch every game this season like I always do. GO PACK GO.

Hundley will give us at least a couple really good drives in this game. That Saints defense is atrocious.

After seeing the Broncos/Giants, Dolphins/Falcons, Chargers/Raiders, and all of the other craziness this year, I don't know how anyone can just assume this is a loss.

The year I started really getting into football is the year Favre took over when I was a kid. Think I was 8

I'd say I'm as spoiled as they come but when I've heard/read some people talk about how "their Sundays just opened up" or how "they don't really care about the season anymore" I'm reminded that's just not the case

Those that will stop watching the rest of the reason (and I'm talking in general, I've heard that talk plenty at work today ) can piss off.

I willl never stop watching the Packers no matter who is on the team, but if I had to sum up the rest of the season in 3 words it would “meh, who cares.”
It really is like a 10 game exhibition. Even if they somehow miraculously make the playoffs Hundley can’t win them a super bowl. At this point I’ll be paying attention the young guys like King, J. Jones, and A. Jones. This will just all be good experience for them going into next year. Whose contracts are up at the end of this year?

The absolute best case scenario for Rodgers is that it's a 7 week injury. That's what it was back in 2013, obviously on his non-throwing shoulder, though. I'm thinking a 9 week timetable can be realistic, which would put Rodgers back in Week 16 against Minnesota and Week 17 against Detroit. However, to make that even feasible, Hundley (or whoever the QB will be if/when Hundley gets hurt) needs to win 4 games. If Bakhtiari & Bulaga were actually healthy, I think that situation would actually be somewhat doable. The schedule is pretty soft -- the only games I give us absolutely no shot in winning with a backup QB are @ Pittsburgh and @ Carolina. Every other one, we should at least have a shot to win.

I know people love to say that the talent outside of Rodgers on this team is bare. And I really don't think that's true. I think Montgomery & Jones at RB is a formidable 1-2 punch, and I think Jordy/Adams/Cobb is a 1-2-3 just about any offensive coordinator would want to have. This is a good, but not great situation for Hundley to come into. He's had 3 years of experience, knows the offense, knows the players in the offense. This isn't a high selection coming into Cleveland or Chicago with hardly no formidable NFL talent around him. I don't think there really is such thing as a perfect situation for a brand new starter to be in, but this one doesn't really suck for Hundley. It's on him -- he shouldn't have any excuses and McCarthy damn well better open up the gameplan for him this week with a full week to prepare him as QB1.

I haven't heard anyone say that, but the very thought of not watching the Packers for any reason is unfathomable to me.

Let's say we go .500 in Rodgers absence, there are a lot of people that should eat some crow re: TT. I've heard many people say that without Rodgers this is one of the worst teams in the league. So how we over this stretch should prove a lot of people right or a lot of people wrong.
