Seattle decides to go with Eddie Lacy as the starter and featured back. Fail.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Quote about Zach Brown by the announcers “Zach Brown is playing like a man possessed”
Quote about Reuben Foster by the announcers “this guy doesn’t look like he missed a beat” as he stuffs the run in 2nd and goal then pressures the QB to throw the ball away on 3rd

I just wanted either one of these guys. Blake and one of these guys makes our defense so good.

This is his second full game.

He also just stuffed a run on 3rd and goal to force another field goal, then after they turned it over he stuffed AP for the 4th time and allowed Peterson to force the fumble.

Rodney isn’t the only one. In fact the last two offseason, I was asked to stop mentioning his name. Both times the follow up was, “there must be something wrong with him if nobody wants him.”

And you wouldn't stop talking about Foster. So congrats for being right sometimes.

Hella props to Marshall for keeping on getting those checks. Figured he wouldnt be long for the league once the pack let him go.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

Too bad Russell Wilson couldn't clutch the Seahawks defense to a win. Or that he didn't play better in the first 55 minutes so a comeback against a very depleted Washington team wasn't necessary.

The same Foster who had 14 solo tackles (a season high for any 49ers defender) half of which came on 2nd or 3rd and short, four quarterback rushes (three of which came on 3rd and goal), and stuffing Peterson on 1st down to allow the DB to come in and force a fumble.

Yes, he suffered an unfortunate ankle injury which could happen to anyone at anytime but when he is on the field he is one of the best ILB's in the game. It's like me saying drafting King was dumb because he suffered a concussion and missed almost two whole games (played 1 snap of one game and missed another) and is now possibly out due to a back injury. As I have said, even with this only being Foster's second game he has still had more of an on the field impact than King. I also said, Reuben wouldn't even be needed had we signed Zach Brown for pennies on the dollar in the first place. We almost gave the same amount of money to RJF that it would have cost to sign Zach Brown. Ted's refusal to focus on ILB in free agency or the draft (before the 4th round) is ridiculous.

You still have to be available to be a valuable player for your team. Foster's looked great in his limited time, but so far he's played only 64 snaps in 9 games, after being an injury red-flagged prospect leading up to the draft. I really don't get the hindsight argument with him until he proves he can stay healthy.

I agree with you there, but we can’t sit here and act like Foster is a complete bust. He has looked like a top ILB when he has played putting up highlights. Unfortunately, he has missed some games do to an ankle injury. If injuries continue to plague his career then I have no problem admitting I’m wrong. However, we all know that ankle injury was a freak accident, had nothing to do with his redflags, and could have happened to anyone.

Same with King and his concussion and now back. I get questioning Foster, but some here seem ready to doom him as a bust. Not sure if they have actually watched him in his limited playing time. The guy sheds blocks better than most veteran linebackers and has better instincts than any linebacker on our roster.
