All Minnesota can do is run. We have the #1 run defense. The only reason I am remotely worried is because it's Minnesota and I'd hate to lose to them. But honestly, we should slaughter them.

Besides the obvious of keeping an undefeated season going, its also to go ahead in the all time series. Hard to discount a team when it's their superbowl though.

Not only is this Minnesota's Super Bowl, they're also playing for bowl eligibility so it's kind of a double on why they're going to be desperate to win.

You guys this season might be consolation for the Packers going downhill.

If one believes in those sort of things.

Yup, that too.

One positive might be that it’s Thanksgiving weekend. Lots of students will be with their families instead, and not go to the game. Not that a ton of people were going to their games in the first place.

Also a decent chance for a strong wisconsin crowd with UW alumni from the twin cities area coming back. I know I have quite a few friends I graduated with going next weekend.

Badgers got a commitment from 4 star OT Logan Brown from Grand Rapids.

Nice. He had offers from some big time schools. Including Alabama.

Let's hope he doesn't change his mind. That's a good get.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I don't think it'll be sorted out until after all of the 6-win teams are known after the week, but I believe Minnesota is pretty likely to already have a bowl game locked up. If it has to go down to 5-win teams (it usually does nowadays) they have a good academic standing which is the tiebreaker.

His quote when asked if he was going to look around at other schools was. "Nope, it's over."

What's the earliest date he can sign?

I'm not positive on that, but I think it would be something like next December (regular signing for that class is Feb '19). It'll be a while since he's a 2019 recruit.

I know, I'm saying is there a chance he skips his senior year and decides to go pro?

Oh, yeah, like I said he should be. I haven't followed the draft a ton, but I don't think he has that much hype to leave early.

From what I've seen, Nelson might go pro. Not following a ton of draft stuff myself, but I've just seen the Badger boards assuming he'd go. He sat out a year to transfer. Stock probably won't get higher. Edwards I would imagine is gone. I wouldn't be shocked if Sagapolu left. Going to be a lot of defensive players to replace. Like, almost the entire defense (but they do have like 10 players that have already gotten time on the field coming back, even if they aren't starters).
