So I know it's not that black or white. Just humor me:

Option 1:

We win this week the Vikings lose their first round bye and therefore don't make it to the Superbowl. However, it drops us far enough in the draft where we miss out on the HOF player and draft another bust.

Option 2:

We lose this week, Vikings keep their first round bye and go on to win the Superbowl. The loss however puts us in perfect first round position to draft the best player at whatever position of your choosing in the draft who plays his entire career in Green Bay and goes on to be a future HOF.

What would you cheer for?

C'mon. You're not a true fan of this team if you'd give up a HoF player just to spite a division foe. What are we? Vikings fans? Cuz this sounds like a Vikings fan thing to say.

So could the poll also be stated, 'Queens win and Packers chances of future Super Bowls for the next 10 years increase by, say, 25%- 50%?' I mean what does a HOF player add to the odds? Is it a HOF CB or QB or OL? That would impact the decision as well.

You need a couple HOFs on a team to win a superbowl it seems. 96 we had Reggie, Favre and a few other studs including a nominated HOFer in butler.

2010 we had Rodgers and woodson plus some rising players.

We need to pair Rodgers with a defensive HOFer with some rising players. This isn't even a poll question. You get the HOFer who in a couple years gets the defense to another level and brings Rodgers another ring.

Obviously in a perfect world we get both a win and the best player in the draft. I just had this discussion with some people and hypothetically they picked keeping the Vikings from getting their first Superbowl.

Honestly, a part of me wants the VikIngs to make it the Superbowl just to watch them blow a Superbowl at home.

I don't care about winning this week. But if the Vikings made the Super Bowl and blew a huge second half lead on their home field, that would be pretty great.

I think the hatred between Bears and Packers fans has some respect. I find Viking fans to be more annoying. They have quite the inferiority complex and root for the Packers to lose as much as they root for the Vikings to win.

I really dont meet many Vikings fans and the only one I do know is a pretty cool dude who works at my barbershop.

The Vikings will still get the bye if we beat them tomorrow, if they beat the Bears next week in Minnesota. The Vikings are pretty much locked into the #2 seed whether or not we beat them tomorrow.

The fact this poll is so close scares me.

Apparently the poll had a time limit so I don't get to officially vote but easily the HOF player. I find Vikings fans to be among the most insufferable in the league, not quite like Cowboys fans but pretty bad and I still take a HOF level talent to improve our odds of more rings.

Vikings now have the 2nd best odds behind the Pats to win the SB.

I grew up in NW Wisconsin and my brother and dad are big viking fans so I've always hated them way more than the Bears. There was a point last week where i was talking to my brother and mentioned that I must be getting soft in my old age because a part of me wouldn't mind them winning it to make my family happy..... Then I started watching the game and realized how much I just hate the Viking and I hope they get bounced in the first round.

This is the important thing here. I'd much rather have the Vikings lose the SB than a HOF player, but I wouldn't care nearly as much over the Bears and would rather have the player.

I grew up in SE WI and later Madison and hated the Bears more (save for Favre to the Vikings era) and now live in Minnesota and am dreading the red carpet rollout for their Super Bowl much more than I currently would the Bears.
