Hey, a Randall Cobb pass when eliminated from playoff contention down 27-3!

One of his knocks coming into the draft was his availability - he has fairly impressive size and peripheral athletic numbers. As we've seen this year, he might just be made of glass. It could be bad luck but more than likely we're looking at a guy who will be on the streets this off-season and we'll grab another RB with one of our 4 upcoming 5th's.

Maybe our pass rush a little bit if we switch to a 4-3, but this defense is pretty much doomed with the personnel they have.

Blake, Perry, Clark, Daniels, King, Jones, a motivated HaHa is a nice foundation. But it looks like a number of our guys are playing indifferent, Burnett and HaHa most notably. We are one good draft away and a DC from having a top 15 defense which is all we really need.

If you have ever read about him, he is kind of a star crossed kid. I’d be shocked if he is in the NFL next year despite his obvious physical talents. But we will see, we stuck with Crosby after the yipps year.

How about Callahan
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Yup. 2nd pass he’s thrown his entire career, and we do it now. MM is so dumb.

As bad as Hundley is, he is getting hurt by WR with no separation. Under a different system he might be a perfectly adequate back up.

It's a worthy proposition. I mean, the O-Line is a quagmire and giving up pressure left and right and we've been hearing the same thing from analysts and announcers for several years: the Packers get no separation and they run long-developing routes entirely dependent on the 1 vs. 1 victory. It's classic MM scheming...and it's no longer viable in the modern NFL. Defense's are too fast. MM has struggled mightily adapting to this and is overly-reliant on a top 3 all-time qb to cover-up his glaring deficiencies as a play-caller and strategist.

This said, I think Hundley is just what he is: an average qb.

Burnett is entirely overvalued by this coaching staff. I mean, you obviously go back to the Shields injury BUT TT and the overall coaching staff's inability to gauge and properly use talent has been a HUGE downfall. How much time have they invested in projects like Rollins and Goodsen?!? These failures alone should provoke Murphy to make the right decision for the organization. Unfortunately, I don't think a poster on our board can say with any confidence Murphy will make any type of intrepid moves within the coaching and GM ranks. He just comes across as the consummate corporate pansy.

Was having a very similar discussion with a buddy yesterday. We heard Hayward described as “an elite coverage CB” and Hyde’s pro bowl and WTF were we doing with them? Why does Randall look like he is not coached? How did Rollins regress so much? Who is coaching and deciding how we use these guys? What the hell happened to our safeties ?

It’s like that year that we got rid of our WR coach and our WR were the worst in the league. I am so glad to hear we are moving on from Dom and hoping we fire just about all the defensive coaches and get some fresh blood and ideas going.

Cobb looks kind of washed up but still like a decent #4 guy, Jordy looks washed up to where he's going to just embarrass himself if he keeps playing.

If I am the Packers GM and I can get a top WR like a Calvin Ridley in the 1st rd I'm all over that. I love Adams and I am happy we have him locked up but he's a #2, maybe the best #2 guy in the league but a #2. Get a guy like Ridley to go with Adams, then have TY & Cobb be your #3 and # 4 guys.

I think drafting a true #1 WR should be a very high priority in this draft. Especially when you take TT's track record into account when it comes to drafting defensive players. Just try to stack the offense for Rodgers and try to out score people.

Capers' blitzing schemes are horrific. He usually either brings the house in telegraphed fashion or delays it. There's poor timing and lb's aren't playing games enough where they drop back into passing lanes. These are supposed to be staples of a 3-4. He struggles in that area and his zone is often not positioned correctly where receivers are running to open spaces without even initial resistance. Thank goodness he's finally going to be gone.

I'd seen enough 6 weeks ago. The fact they never game Callahan a look is so dumb. I'd cut hundley immediately after the season he simply is not a nfl qb.

Weird. Second post that was exactly a conversation I was having with my buddy. Ridley in the first or Kirk in the second would be awesome.
