There isn't a RB in the modern NFL that you should ever pay $16-17 mil per year.

It's an interesting negotiation. As Florio points out the pack have leverage with 4 yrs of team control. But Rodgers has some too, he's made a boat load of cash both on and off the field and he can continue to after his career. So he can threaten a hold out/retirement if he wanted to.

What gives me optimism is I really doubt either side really wants some ugly public battle over this.

I can't stand Florio. Such an ahole and douche. Anyway, of course a deal will get done at some point. Doesn't really matter when. It's not like Rodgers is getting all worked up about it.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.
