If Coan has a decent performance and leads the team to victory at this house of horrors, especially with presumably not a lights out defense this time, then he's pretty much Russell Wilson OR Lippo's perception of Bart Houston. Whichever one is better.

Lmao. Timeout before the first play
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Timeout burned before the first snap. Mike McCarthy would be proud.

Not loving that first drive playcalling. The picked up the first on 3 runs by Taylor. Then they went back on first down instead of a reverse or play action to make things easier on Coan. Then they get within 1 yard of the first and give it back to Taylor instead of Ingold who is a 1st down machine. I like Taylor, but this is too much trust and predictability.

Connelly should go down as a Badger legend. He's such an aware player. And I'll ask again, why didn't Bondoc play under Chryst or Anderson, previously? This is what he reportedly did in practice too. First series and another takeaway.

Good gameplan that drive for an inexperienced qb. A little misdirection/unconventional playcalling, but nothing overly risky. Hopefully that's a confidence builder for him and the team.

This defense is super-inexperienced after the offseason attrition and in-season injuries. It's showing in so many guys not knowing their responsibility to start a play. And they're on their back foot so being driven backward a couple yards.

I know it's in Chryst's nature to be conservative, but in a bit of a hole now, w/ a defense that's not dominant, nor running game, and Coan not looking totally inept in spite of being a debutante, Paul has to open the offense a bit, pick up tempo, and calculated risks in game management like Fitz has.

To say JT has a ball protection problem is an understatement.

Just about done with Taylor and his fumbles.

He didn't even go after the ball after it came out. It was sitting right under him. He's way too lackadaisical in ball security.

Eventually the handcuffs need to be taken off and Coan just needs to be allowed to sling it. Limited opportunities today, no glaring errors, sacks, and refs missed a couple PI's.
