Yeah, I get that it leaves us with basically only two RB's, but that was such an inexcusable **** up that cost us the game. And now this thing about him being upset about getting pulled the previous series? Cut his ass.

Yeah Montgomery needs to be released. They can find a 3rd string RB. Need to send a message.

Here’s the link to the Silver article about what the players said about Montgomery. https://sports.yahoo.com/ty-montgomery-disobeyed-orders-key-fumble-angering-aaron-rodgers-packers-141933668.html

Gotta cut him or trade him.

You have to at the very least suspend him a game? There has to be a punishment in some form. I mean I think we all want him cut but Idk if we are that lucky.

It’s another symptom of how bad this coaching staff is.

Headed into this week, I think they had the 3rd most penalties per game. After only 2 yesterday, they are still 9th.

Zero discipline. To the point now where a mediocre role player just openly disobeys you in crunch time.

I'd be both surprised and disappointed if he's still on the team Tuesday night.

Not sure if Bostick 2014 or TJ Rubley 1995 is the best comparison. Bostick was released the next month, but his play was on the last game of the (post-)season. Rubley was cut I think the Tuesday after the game.

Jeremy Ross was cut after the Bengals game in 2013.

SIAP. Looks like it's come in bits and pieces. Found the full thing on NFL.com

"Aaron was hot," one Packers coach said. "And he had a right to be. He yelled, 'Take a f------ knee!' He was very, very mad."

In the eyes of many of Rodgers' teammates, his ire was justifiable. According to more than a half-dozen Packers players and coaches who witnessed it, Montgomery had thrown a tantrum of his own on Green Bay's previous offensive series, becoming noticeably enraged on the sideline after being removed from the game. At least one player believed there was carryover from that incident to Montgomery's decision to disregard his coaches' instruction and return the kickoff.

"They took him out (the previous drive) for a play and he slammed his helmet and threw a fit," one Packers player said. "Then (before the kickoff) they told him to take a knee, and he ran it out anyway. You know what that was? That was him saying, 'I'm gonna do me.' It's a f------ joke.

"I mean, what the f--- are you doing? We've got Aaron Rodgers, the best I've ever seen, and you're gonna take that risk? I mean, it's '12'! All you gotta do is give him the ball, and you know what's gonna happen."

For what it is worth, TM had a prescheduled in-house interview tonight on WSSP and he kept his commitment. Weird situation yesterday as I never got the "Me-First" Vibe from him before.

Good for him, that took some balls. Too bad McCarthy doesn't have any :nonono:
