GT: Pack at Pats - 7:20 - NBC

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Sun Nov 4, 2018 2:13 pm

I expect a competitive game with McCarthy once again being out coached as Bellchick's in game adjustments are the difference.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I don’t know why but I just have a feeling the Packers are going to win this game. They shouldn’t but they always seem to play better against good teams and when their backs are against the wall.

I fully anticipate the Packers doing just enough to speak of 'moral victories' while making just enough boneheaded plays - early TO's, poor playcalls, giving up drives immediately after claiming some momentum, missed fg, MM conservatisms etc - to lose this by one or two scores. You know, a classic MM Packer performance.

I still vividly remember that one improbable and random Mike Sherman Packers victory at New England (28-10) when a rookie safety in Marques Anderson (!!) had his best professional game. Boy, that was a blip on the radar.

Some are speculating it's because his wife is pregnant and expected in November. Might just be backup insurance and not performance related.

I predict Jones gets 4 carries and Graham gets targeted 2 times, but combine for 107 yards and 3 touchdowns. Jamal Williams gets 21 carries and St Brown gets 10 targets, but combine for 7 yards and no touchdowns.

I also predict a 52-16 loss, but the Packers will actually lose on a 4 yard pass that turns into a 60 yard TD on the 2nd play of overtime because 3 guys in our secondary got confused and all covered the same receiver.

McCarthy reminds us he's an excellent football coach in the post game presser.

I see a similar loss to last week. Hang in there, keep it competitive, but then blow it in the end.

Apparently, the Packers believe that a 5th round punter needs a fire lit under him.

They signed him because Scott’s wife is expecting a baby soon

I could see that happening if they take the leash off Aaron Jones and it turns into his “coming out game”.

Are there any college players worth tanking for? Do NFL teams tank? Go Bucks.
