The only issue with Jones, as I see it, is will his body hold up? They need a committee given his lower body injury history.

Yeah, I don't know that I would push him too far beyond the 15 touches a game...I mean, I would be tempted to for sure, but I don't think he will hold up. I am extremely interested in Dexter Williams, he seems like a perfect type of back for our system and seems to play faster than he timed.

Give Jamal the 3rd and short package. By the end of the season I suspect Jamal is the back up for the Dexter role and Grant is the back up for the Jones role and you just let it all play out hoping Jones can stay healthy.

I think you run Jones like you would run any other feature back, and if he can’t hold up it is what it is. I’d rather roll the dice and see him get 20+ carries because he’s a potential big play every time he gets the ball.

He's going to get a lot of touches in the passing game, too. The number of carries doesn't really matter to me. As long as he touches the ball in the right spots, I'll be fine.

"expertise" is a push.... haha but i'll say a combo of the 2.

Medical aspect: While I was never in an NFL training camp, I got all of my wisdom teeth pulled during Army basic training and returned to duty/normal activities a day and a half later. Part of it was being cleared medically but part of it was fear of being recycled(having to start over cause i'm too far behind). I'll go out on a limb and say that he's got a higher level of treatment than I did in 1998 US Army dental care haha. Are his sockets bleeding/are there complications for a week straight? Not gonna question "toughness".. Mouth pain is like nothing else but c'mon already... Get out there and compete.

Fan: A 1st round pick that some believe has a higher ceiling/potential/etc than our other 1st rounder is missing out on important reps and just that the timing of it is just kinda lame.

No worries, just bustin' chops. I had all 4 of mine pulled my sophomore year of college. Over Thanksgiving break. Two were impacted & had to be broken to be removed. Needless to say I had a liquid turkey dinner that year. Couldn't eat solid food for almost a week. No fun.
