1 Year Deals:
Matthews...........$5 mil
Cobb.................$5 mil
Kendricks/Lewis...$3 mil
WIlkerson...........$5 mil
Ryan.................$3 mil
Breeland..............................3 years $21 mil

Cut Nick Perry now.

Sign 1 Guard 3 years $24 mil...........Sign 1 Safety 3 years $18 mil

Spend your draft capital on OLB (2), Offensive Line (2) Safeties (1) Defensive-Line (1) Tight End (1) for a majority of your picks.

I'd replace Cobb and pay a little more for golden tate. He is what Cobb should have been. An offense with a stud wr in Adams a ppr slot machine in tate and a deep threat in mvs plus st brown would be a pretty good core. Then draft a receiver if one falls.

Tate is older but still produces. He didn't fit in Philly and they went back to foles who relied on alshon and agholar.

A 2-3 year deal at 6-7 would be fine for him. Try to get a low guarantee and if he fails can be cut.

Fifty plus mil is more than enough to fill some holes and possibly get a decent edge rusher.

Im more concerned with the staff. Need to hit on their head coach. Need a fresh mind in that can put players in the correct spot and utilize their strengths.

Honestly, I have zero interest in bringing any of these guys back, outside of Breeland at a reasonable deal. I think if King comes back healthy, Breeland could possibly move to safety. I think it's absolutely possible to be back in the playoffs next year if we hit on some draft picks and get a couple of good free agent signings. That being said, I think realistically, you're looking at 2020 before really competing, so bringing those guys back that you have listed could take away playing time and reps from some of the younger guys already on the team or who will be after the draft.

The one main reason I would want them all back is the depth. They are all capable veterans and sure they are pushing their prime in some instances but for how much our team gets hurt each year. I don't want half the team undrafted nobodys. In my scenario it gives us our "core team" plus resigning these 6-8 guys for depth, and then add the 10 draft picks to round out the roster.

id bring Matthews back at that and possibly ryan to...But Kendricks and Lewis were useless this year...hopefully Tonyan develops and id let graham go and draft a TE plus sign a Free Agent....Lets go out in Free Agency and get depth and a starter or 2...with all our picks we can fill holes to, but I wanna go outside the organization and bring in some new players...Cobb can't run anymore....If Breeland comes back at 2 yr 9 mil id do it...id find a couple guys in Free Agency that we can sign to 1 year deals

The thought of him and Jones is enticing. I worry a little about durability but having Jones helps calm that. They would really have to do their research on his personality because there's some real **** head red flags for years with him.

If it only cost like a 4th or 5th it could be worth a shot.

I wouldn't give up much for him. Big talent, little brain. And has missed 11 of 32 games.

I'd be more willing to ignore Fournette acting like a petulant prick if he averaged at least 4 yards a carry at some point in his career.

The Green Bay Packers signed TE Evan Baylis, DL Eric Cotton, T Gerhard de Beer, G Anthony Coyle, FB Malcolm Johnson, S Tray Matthews, WR Teo Redding, LB Brady Sheldon, DL Deon Simon and S Jason Thompson. The transactions were announced Monday by General Manager Brian Gutekunst.

All of the players finished the season on the Packers’ practice squad, except for Coyle, who was on practice squad; injured reserve.

Fournette isn't the difference-maker that Marshawn Lynch was when he got traded from the Bills (and not to the Packers unfortunately...), but I'd be really excited to see him on the Packers. He's a tough runner. Fast but not a small speed back, he initiates contact and breaks tackles. That's the kind of RB that would really complement #12 really well, like Lacy did, like Starks did during the 2010 playoffs, actually like Williams did too in certain games (like the second Bears game last year).

My wish list is edge rusher(s), safety, guard maybe RT, tight end, and power RB (Fournette would do).

Are we really allready at the point on this board that whenever anything comes out about anybody we're in "trade for him" mode?

Well a couple of New Year drinks could have fueled it by why not. He is a pretty good receiver. Adams and Brown running routes for Rogers would be amazing.

A guy like Brown can be attractive to the acquiring team since none of the bonus counts towards their cap, so it would be more like $15 millions for the Packers vs. his $22 million with the Steelers. Now on the flip side the Steelers may be more reluctant to trade him because of the dead cap hit they would take for the signing bonus they gave him.
