Jets Lead Up

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Mon Dec 17, 2018 7:49 pm

Line opened Pack favored by 3.5 and quickly moved to Jets by 1.5
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Bigger inactive list this week, or no? There are guys who have soldiered through injuries, where logic would have them sit and mend up; but I'm not sure logic factors in...

Sounds like Jones either sprained or tore his MCL again, as it's apparently the same level of injury he had last year. I'm definitely fine with him resting the final two games anyway.

Jets with the sneaky, hard fought, W. Packers catapult into the top 8 picks (I don't know if this is mathematically possible and I don't care).

I know I'm draft pick biassed, but don't you absolutely have to sit Rodgers the last two games based on injury history and his importance in 2019? You can also make the case that because we'll have a new HC and system he's going to be needed for the off season workouts as well.

I'd even go further and basically sit everyone of importance past this year outside of the rookies. We're mathematically eliminated. Get Kizer plenty of reps with Tonyan, EQ, MVS, and Moore. Feed Williams 20+ times. It gonna be ugly but....

Packer pride kills our draft pick chances. No reason for Arod to play.

I'm expecting Rogers to play, but Philbin left himself some wiggle room: "We're going to play the guys that are healthy". By this point of the season, Rogers legitimately has a wifty knee, bad groin, godknowswhatelse knicks and bumps.

We own the tiebreak over every 5-9 team right now except the Giants. Have a real opportunity to vault ourselves in the 5-8 range.

Kizer with the trash we have at WR would be so bad it would actually be entertaining. Especially now that it's in our better interest to lose.

Jones to IR. Signed Allen Lazard off the practice squad. I liked him out of Iowa State.

They have to sit Rodgers. It doesn't make any goddamn sense to send him out there when their season is effectively over.

Agreed. If he was healthy (though who is at this point of the season) then maybe it makes sense to play him but he's very obviously hurt and being bothered by multiple things.

I normally like Bob McGinn, but he was on the big show talking about how basically the Packers need to play to win until the final snap of the final game. Listening to some of his logic was annoying, yet at the same time entertaining. 'What would #4 do?''. WTF lol.

Lazard had average speed in college but a great route runner. Did have slight issues with dropped passes which I think has made it hard for him landing on a team.
