Also...a few games ago Danny Davis made some amazing 1 on 1 TD catches. Just f***ing throw it up to him. He will have 1 on 1. This isnt hard.

Another unbelievable stop by Miami? Or UW being undisciplined? Making stupid mistakes? Idk...that penalty also wasnt bad. The offensive lineman had a hand on the guy and Taylor chop blocked him? That's a stupid rule if that's how written.

Chryst/Rudolph is a brutal playcaller right now. If they somehow get away with the predictable run up the middle on the 1st, they just call it again and tempt fate. Then keep putting Wisconsin's offense behind the sticks and give Miami a chance to pin their ears back. And that dink pass call to set up another fg attempt by Gagme was foolish. The commentator was right. With fg kicker who can't direct his attempts, just throw a deep pass. If it gets intercepted it's a punt. Probably better than one than Lotti can deliver, because he's never been any good.

Defense has been excellent out of an occasional contain break. Very opportunistic and getting pressure. But should be in an even better position than this. One drive and it's a one score game already. Should be up 3-4 scores by now. That suspect double block call negating a td didn't help. Van Lanen just fell down on him.

So what’s the winner of this game get anyway? A bronzed suit coat?

Let me break this last series down. All runs. 2nd and 9 or 10 we pass for 7 yards. Then we go in shotgun and pass on 3rd and 3...at that point why not run? Or dont make it obvious that we are finally passing?

TJ Edwards' stock keeps going up up for when he's finally away, his beautiful golden balloon. Somebody may consider him with a late 1st. He's made himself plenty of moolah for returning as a senior. I thought it was near topped out.

I dont trust the offensive coaches with Mertz. If they are this stupid how can they get better with a better QB?

I don’t think they’re stupid. I think they basically have no qb playing qb

Read some of the comments about the playcalling. They did 1 fake jet sweep and gained 8 yards. I'm not saying pass more. Do more deceptive play calling. Pre snap motion. Actually run a jet sweep which has averaged like 15 to 20 yards per play this year.
I'm not an offensive coordinator but there is more they can do in creative run plays.
Someone else said when it was 3rd and 17 they ran a 4 yard crossing pattern. Literally tell the QB to throw it to Danny Davis in the end zone. If it gets picked who cares. They are stupid.

To add to this. Again I said it b4. Danny Davis made 2 amazing 1 on 1 catches in the endzone this year thrown by Coan. He has 1 on 1 all day. Throw it up to him when you are on their side of the field or definitely in the red zone.

It's not stupidity. It's irrational conservatism. Chryst has shown it in all phases the last couple of years. Thank goodness in this case the defense has been so dominant to bail out not taking the offense out of neutral.

PC/JR is not doing his qb any big favors putting him in predictable passing situations. He's actually doing well in regards to buying extra time considering the rush. So maybe he's not trusting his OL.

Frankly, I don't think we know what we have in Coan yet. He's very much been a mixed bag, and no worse than mediocre, when you factor in his schedule. Only one way to found out. I guess they're putting it off until next OOC. Not like they would have lost anything had he played against Minnesota.

It is stupid when you run all day and then on 3rd and 3 lineup in shotgun. Wtf is that? Lol seriously....why not idk lineup and act like we are running to get idk 1 on 1 coverage because the defense is lining up to stop the run.....

This last play call 3rd and 12 run. Ok. Well if you are giving up why not run a jet sweep? Since you are already giving up why not? It's a conservative play call. Some of our WRs are actually playmakers and have some speed...

Their QB is effectively just their backup RB. Gary Anderson would have an affinity for him though.

I feel like it's almost pathetic for Wisconsin that they're only up 21-3 right now. Miami has been incomprehensibly bad.
