Why did the Eagles run that play before the 2 minute warning lol. Could have gotten a free timeout and why leave the Saints more time if you end up scoring.

Even if Jeffery catches the ball, it's still a moronic way of thinking. Not hindsight either because the ball was picked off, I was like WTF are they doing when I saw them lining up to get a play off before the 2 minute warning. Last thing you want to do is leave Brees time only needing a FG to win.

Not sure why you keep harping on the time.
Jeffrey would've been tackled at the 22ish with 1:55 left. The Saints only had one TO left. Philly would've had no problem running down the clock if they picked up a 1st down becore scoring.
