ATL Conference Championships

Both are rematches of regular season games. Both were fun, high scoring games.

Saints favored by 3.5, Chiefs by 3.

Payton and McCarthy were hired the same year. McCarthy with a higher winning percentage (.618/.615). McCarthy's teams made the playoffs 9 of 13 seasons, Payton 7/12 (suspended 2012).

Go CHIEFS!

In the NFC I prefer the Rams but Los Angeles doesn't deserve a championship.

As if the "defense wins championships" myth wasn't already dead...

I expect both games to exceed 800 yards of total offense. Don't really care who comes out of the NFC. Go Chiefs.

If the Pats make the Super Bowl again I will become depressed.

Saints/Chiefs please

probably want LA to lose more than New England, Pats winning again is just business as usual

I hate the Pats but if they beat KC in KC they deserve it

Interesting to note that 8 coaches were fired but none of the corresponding 8 GM's were fired.

That myth died for me when I saw an interview with Warren Sapp mocking that phrase.

"The D can give you a chance but it's the offense that has to go and get it"

Right? The numbers 1,2,4&5 teams in offensive DVOA are still playing. The top D still alive is New Orleans at 11. And all the talking heads act surprised that teams are rushing to hire offensive coaches lol. When you constantly change rules to benefit the offense it's no surprise that side of the ball becomes more important.

It's basically come down to having a great O and then not completely sucking at D and special teams and having them wreck games.

I don't remember the last rule change that favored the offense. Maybe when they took away the force out on receptions. I'm surprised they haven't gone the college route of one foot in.

I remember a sign in our locker room "IF YOU SCORE YOU MAY WIN. IF THEY NEVER SCORE YOU WILL NEVER LOSE. DEFENSE WINS CHAMPIONSHIPS".

Will be fun to see how Zimmer butts heads with Kubiak, his son, and Stefanski, and the rumors of how Kubiak is a successor in waiting ahould the Vikes fire Zimmer.

Read a lot from pumped Viking fans excited about having a Super Bowl-winning offensive mind. Must've forgot they had a 2x SB OC in Norv Turner, and something made him to quit midseason and their season went in the toilet.
