I have not been down (neutral, but continually feeling better), and this just makes the better feelings even better.

I'm hardcore pulling for him.

Didn't realize Smith was still a young guy. Hell I'm older than him.

That was passionate. You'd think he was the one who drafted him

Gary is definitely growing on me

But he was crying tears of pain from being drafted by GB...

Also coming around on this pick. Was originally very disappointed due to my love of Oliver. Also Gary was like the one guy I didn't want. Having said that I felt similar last year about Jaire. Only worries our injuries. Think the production thing was over blown and think his motor was unfairly criticized. Like his ability with his hands most of all and the fact he did the dirty work without complaint.
Bucks fandom bringing me happiness still seems like a dream.

I love Oliver too but I can't get mad about the Gary pick over him. He went #9.

The way that the first round played out, my friend and I figured there were two moves, trade down if you could get a good deal, or draft Gary. We were very happy with the pick and still are. I can't wait to see what he can do.

Bumping this thread with all the Gary buzz in camp. I would be extremely happy to eat crow with Rashan and see him turn out to be a stud. Early returns are exciting.

Very excited to have another “buzz” pick. Seems like for years our first rounders were not exciting.

I was dubious of the pick but the excitement with him has me excited.

Ill give him a mulligan for year 1. Rookie, we signed two studs that played ahead of him. If he doesn't produce in year two, wasted draft pick.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I feel like they drafted him to be Zadarius Smith, but then figured Z Smith is already a better version than they could hope for.

I'd like to see Gary do something with skill and just not god given natural physical talent, that would tell me he is learning to harness his ability next year.

Guy couldn't even get good stats when playing against kids, imagine against men in the NFL.

He has a lot of natural physical, but football IQ is zero.

I am holding out hope for two reasons;
1. Dude is a rare physical specimen
2. Kenny Clark was drafted young as well, and if we didn't give him some time to mature, we might not have had one of the best interior defenders in the league

13 snaps in two playoff games as the #12 overall pick. Not ideal that he was seeing way less of the field than Fackrell
