2023 College Football Discussion

Post#1 » by trwi7 » Sun Aug 25, 2019 2:39 am

Florida and Miami are both dog ****. Miami had a 4th and 34 and Florida just committed an awful PI well short of the 1st down marker. Just grabbed him around the neck and threw him down.

Miami can only move the ball forward if there's a pass interference and Florida continues to happily oblige.

That might've been the longest rollercoaster anyone could have for both the total and the spread.

That fumble...ugh. They probably were 2-3 1st downs away from icing that with MN only having one timeout.

Love that the kicker got a scholarship immediately after the game.

It's only one game, but these teams we are supposed to fight with for the B10 West crown don't look too good.

The Northern Iowa/Iowa State game is great. But the announcers didn't know that a knee on the ground is down even if he isn't touched. Idiots
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Amazingly dumb for UNI not to go for two to win it.

SEC! SEC! SEC! Tennessee about to lose to Georgia State, who went 2-10 last year.

Is Michigan running a triple option this year? Their string bean QB may be dead by game 5 if they continue this game plan into big ten play.

A lot of crazy stuff in that Oregon/Auburn game, my main comment:

After that last TD, you KNOW you have the celebration penalty and kicking it off 15 yards back. That shouldn’t even matter, but how do you not go for 2? I can guarantee it was a, “eh, we got this one baby!”

Even though it is not practical given buyout among other things, Malzahn on that play alone should be canned. If you aren’t getting every ounce of an edge in any game, you’re an idiot and will lose to those who do in today’s game. They nearly paid dearly if it wasn’t for the, uhhhh, lack of touch by Herbert.

I missed losing money on bad CFB beats. I don't think another sport compares from a pure entertainment standpoint.

Had the UM over parlayed with Oregon winning which paid nicely. I hit the over on that unnecessary last-minute MTSU touchdown and thought it was in the bag. Then **** Oregon happened...

Really dumb not going for 2. Malzahn never struck me as a good coach anyway.

Good win for me on that UM over, brutal beat on Northwestern +6.

I know you’re joking in that Nix thing but yeah, he belongs but also could barely complete 40%. I hope Mertz is a superstar but the random bros calling for him sight unseen is quite weird.
