Why would easier schedule scare you? If anything this shows me we’re more battle tested for the playoffs.

We often play up or down to our competition. Giants and Redskins scare me.

I think this team will be focused enough on what’s ahead in the playoffs they won’t trip up.

I don't mind Buck/Aikman but I'll take Michaels/Collinsworth anyday. Aikman tends to rant and whine about bad calls, wherease Collinsworth tends to rave about Godgers.

I always thought it was fitting how Fox's call on the game clinching play in Super Bowl 45 isn't anything iconic or memorable. It's Joe Buck and Troy Aikman bitching and crying about Sam Shields getting away with pass interference, when Sam Shields literally didn't touch the guy.

Aikman is biased as hell against the Packers and trust me, if there was an anti-homer club out there, I would be the president.

Granted, there is a bit more traffic on the Packers (I'd bet they call Packer games the most given we've been consistently good/prime FOX for a decade), but it's a fun exercise...

Out of curiousity, did you find any Cowboy fan complaints?

I think your compendium goes to the point I made earlier; that Aikman tends to lock-in on some gripe and just beat it to death, and that grates on any fan base. He just can't let go.

I didn't specifically look for Cowboys, I just typed "Troy Aikman hates" into the search bar and had to search out a few teams that probably had barely played prime FOX games. I bet some Cowboys fans thinks he hates them.

The "{announcer) hates my team!" complaint is tired. You can call them stupid, or ignorant, or boring, or wrong. But to accuse them of outright bias is generally pretty absurd, IMO. That Includes Buck and Aikman, who have been effusive in their praise of the Packers - even when it has been unwarranted - throughout the Rodgers tenure.

I don't sense any strong bias with anyone.

My much bigger pet peeve is commentators that have diarrhea of the mouth and feel they need to talk all the way from the end of the play to the next snap.

If you watch the games objectively it's hard to find bias in my opinion. When its your team you're so emotionally attached any criticism (whether constructive or not) can be interpreted as 'hate'. I would guess if you watch a game they announce between two AFC teams you might have a different perspective.

I think the issue is that people equate being wrong to being biased. You can be wrong without having ill intent.

To your first point, I have heard Cowboy fans say this about Aikman.

To your main point, I agree. Pretty sad that a dude who won multiple rings thanks to refs giving his team so many calls or noncalls (i.e. Irvin being the push-off king) gets fixated on one certain call during the game like that.

I don't dislike any announcers. Too into the game to notice.

I do, however, think the sad Fox music for injuries is so stupid. Contrived and cheap.

Yeah I luckily got the 2pm to account for this possibility.

Low of 44 still sucks. Stupid SF.

South Bay, different climate than San Francisco. Less wind and fog and more variation in temperature. Like 70s during the day and 40s at night around this time of year. SF is actually pretty nice this time of year.

Yeah outside SF proper is much better. I really, really dislike the weather in the city.

Also, DB, just remembered the game ends at like 9 PT. Your mom should be fine.

Mike McCarthy truly was an awful coach.
