Saints Rams could be good. I'm going to Lambeau so I'll miss it. All 3 night games could be dogs.

I had mono and strep at the same time which is weird since mono is usually blamed as strep but no, got tested for both and both came out positive.

I think the Browns just became my Survivor pick this week.

Let's schedule as many early season games as possible in the southeast. It works out great.

I can't watch this game and looking at the score, I think I'm okay with that.

Waited until the last play of the game to try to get creative with McCaffrey. JFC. Wasted him in pass pro all night when they needed to split him wide and run quick hitters. That LT got his breakfast, lunch and dinner money for the rest of his life stolen tonight. Cam is bad, made Jameis look good.

Minkah granted permission to seek a trade. Whomever trades for him is likely to get a steal especially considering with all the bonus money due to him you’ll have him for three years for peanuts. Would love to see Green Bay make a play for him. He’s doesn’t want to play in the box which is just fine. Play him outside or the slot depending on matchups. Would be good insurance when King gets hurt again.

Watching Cam making awful decisions got me thinking about how many mediocre QB's from this era that are gonna end up in the Hall of Fame simply based on numbers:

Cam Newton
Philip Rivers
Matt Ryan
Matt Stafford
Eli Manning
Tony Romo
Ben Roethlisberger
Carson Palmer? (might be a stretch)

Anyone I'm forgetting?

Cam has always been a questionable passer, though he did improve slightly in 2015 and he has stayed there (when not injured) to decent.

The thing that confounds me is watching the reaction on twitter and people like are not even acutely aware of his foot injury. That saps literally all of his value. No one is going to keep a QB of his caliber out there missing receivers for that long if he can't run. He's on par as a passer with Jameis or Flacco at this point, both of which may be in their final year as a starter. Well, now he can't run with a really bad foot sprain.

The play where he fumbled, he limped like 3 feet and got drilled 2 yards in the backfield. He didn't move all night last night on any passing play.

He runs for ~40 yards/game over his career and it is very vital in his ability to extend plays to throw. He has run for -2 yards this year and they are completely hamstrung at the goal line or in short yardage given that they have an inaccurate passer that cannot move.

Throw in shoulder surgery and he can't even make up for it with questionable/decent passing.

Well that's interesting. I thought he was doing quite well in Miami? What kind of fire sale is this?

I think I remember Gute was reportedly interested in him last year so if they can get him for a 2nd a year later that seems like he should pounce on it.

Alexander
Fitz
King
Brown
Jackson
Tramon

Good lord that's a strong top 4 and just plain deep and versatile

Seems like a 2nd would already be a huge bargain.
