Not sure if this is reliable but sounds like it given other reports. Appears that this may be a lost season and the beginning of the end for him. He literally cannot move with that foot injury, making him useless.

EDIT: Confirmed, he's out.

Same source from above suggesting Kaep to the Jets soon.

You had to know it was only a matter of time before his body broke down with the way that organization has used him over the years. Doesn't matter if he's a freak of nature, all those hits and rushing attempts have taken their toll.

"Rumor is Ramsey will be in silver and black OR Green and gold by the end of the week.

I would trade Gary and King for him straight up lol....doubt they take that. Really, I don’t see it."

Sorry wasn't sure how to move it from the week 2 thread. You got a source on this Profound?

Cam has just been taking a beating for years. And while his rushes expose him to those hits, he also doesn't get the same protection from roughing hits when he's in the pocket as other QBs do, probably due to some implicit bias against him because of how big and strong he is.

There's some truth to the bias but also with him and the other big QBs defenders need to hit them or they just bounce off and run or make a play.

The league needs to do a better job calling in the grasp with QBs. If a defender can't wrap and drive a dude down then blow the play dead the instant the QB is wrapped.

Dallas showing us what happens when you waste your first round pick on a Michigan defensive lineman who underperforms and has excuses made for him throughout the entire draft process.

The pick is already a waste? That was fast.

Hopefully GB picks up Taco just to further irritate you.

Don't fault anybody from getting sick of the punishment/physical abuse and how it drains on you mentally. Simply watching the games as a fan is frustrating due to the inconsistency of officiating, the number of flags thrown, the mindless play calling of people who should know better given they've been in the game for decades, and the sort of the absurdity of the bizarre sport in general.

Also has to be frustrating for Cam to think he can make certain throws (from previous, healthy moments of his career) but reality indicates he can't right now. He was all over the place against Tampa, yards out of bounds on many of them. Those little 10 yard slants and curls though to Moore...all day, haha. He is capable of that still.

I've mentioned this before, there's some un-avoidable basic physics at work here: players at most positions are definitely bigger and much faster than a decade or two ago. Mass x Velocity = Momentum. There is more (destructive) energy in hits today than a decade or two ago, and that part of human anatomy hasn't adapted to those changes yet. Improved sports medicine, training techniques, rules changes, and improved equipment help; but the sport we love is beating itself down.

Now they're saying Seattle, KC, Philly....all of which make more sense. Would rather see KC.

Not that those teams dont seem like legit options but the whole "plan on trading Ramsey to one of these teams friday" part seems insainly dumb when the Jags are planning on playing him tonight

Just seems like if they had a trade lined up and were planning on trading him tommorow the odds of them risking an injury tonight would be pretty close to zero

Yeah, two great throws in one drive that Marriotta hasn't managed in his whole career.

If Nike isn't throwing all of their money at Minshew to make the Minshoe, they're doing business wrong.
