Game 6: Lions at Packers - 7:15 - ESPN/12

Line down to 3.5. It would be huge to go 3-0 in the division. No Adams or Savage.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Feel a bit better about this game after watching the Eagles, Chiefs, and Chargers yesterday.

Their resume doesn't look quite as good, but they still have a lot of weapons and we are hobbled.

This game is pretty huge.

After yesterday, it's looking like we may need 13 for a bye and 10 or 11 to get into the playoffs.

Mike Zimmer realized it's 2019 and is using his passing game. That team won't go away. The Bears might but the Vikings will keep the divisional race close.

Yeah we got zero help yesterday so must win. Seahawks, Vikings, Saints, all won and also the 49ers are 5-0. #1 seed might be something like 14-2 this year.

For sure, but not because of the Vikings lighting up 2 of the worst pass defenses in the league (#31 and #28). They've got a tough 6 weeks ahead of them. @Detroit, @KC, @Seattle, and @Dallas among those 6 games. Wouldn't be surprised if they're 6-6 at the end of it

I loathe the Vikings and hitched my wagon in a mid-season debate to them being really good last year and was partially/mostly wrong (they actually weren't bad) but I think they're pretty good. Defense is every bit as good as the Packers, probably better. Of course I'd take Rodgers over Cousins but when Zimmer actually lets Cousins throw to their great weapons, that offense can be every bit better than the Packers, especially without Adams. A lot of the predictive models have the Vikings as better than the Pack right now.

You're right, though, with that schedule they may be really good and still sitting at 6-6.

The Vikings boil down to their O-Line's pass blocking success, or lack thereof at times, and the effect it has on Cousins in big games.

We're about to be 6 weeks into the season, every team in the division is still .500 or better and theres only 5 teams in the entire conference below. 500....... Every game is important

Every season Kirk Cousins has 2 or 3 games where he looks borderline elite, yesterday was one of those games. Vikings are good, probably a playoff team, but I don't really fear them that much. Maybe I'm wrong, but I just can't take a team with Kirk Cousins at QB seriously in big games and agianst good teams. The Eagles are weird too, they can be a really good team when they feel like it and sometimes they do (vs us) and sometimes they don't (vs Lions & Vikings).

Sure, probably not. But at this point in the NFL we can pick the majority of teams apart other than the Pats.

"Every season the Packers' defense has 2 or 3 games where creates a few turnovers and McCarthy keeps his head out of his own ass. Packers are good, probably a playoff team, but I don't really fear them that much" we could've said that about the Packers for the past 6-7 years.

Every team has a flaw like that, yet one of them with a good enough record that gets home field or catches a break in the playoffs makes the Super Bowl. You can say the same about Goff and the Rams now and they were minutes from a Lombardi trophy last year.

The NFC is loaded with depth, but everyone has flaws. Jimmy G does not look great, the Seahawks' D is not the best, the Rams have shown their problems, Philly's pass D is trash, Dallas is exciting at times but might not come together, Bears have Trubisky/Daniel.

Saints are probably the most complete team when Brees returns, but otherwise, the Vikings and Packers just need to get into the playoffs where they'll be pretty equally ranked and make a run. Cousins will likely underwhelm, but Eli and Flacco won Super Bowls and they can probably win it with even a mediocre performance if things go right for them.

Either way, going 3-0 in the division and then taking a break from the division for 8-9 weeks would be really cool. The rest of the North will finish up the majority of their divisional games before then and we just sit and watch knowing they can't do better than being undefeated in the division. No tiebreakers for them

After reading a pretty good Lions scouting report, I don't see us winning unless a WR gets 100 yards.

We've got to break this losing streak. It's immoral.

One play in and I already want to punch Tessitore in the face. And the dick. And the back of the head.
