Raiders Lead Up

Raiders aren't bad. This is no gimme. Schedule gets a lot tougher after this game. 6 road, 3 home. Absolutely have to take care of business on a short week (and Raiders coming off a bye).
Pack favored by 7.

I think the schedule has already been tough. How many other teams in the league have faced the quality of opponents we've faced the first six games? Even the Broncos seem to be improved.
But yeah, absolutely need to win this one before the road trip starts.

The schedule has been pretty tough but we've had 4 of 6 at home.

Flying out of Vegas tomorrow to meet up with Poppy and the little brother. I anticipate being at the game this Sunday, and considering picking up two jerseys.
I'd have to stop at a seamstress shop to put them together. A 50/50 Pack/Raiders split, old home team and new home blend. Who am I kidding? Straight up Vulcan, I bleed Green!

And even though the Raiders are probably in the lower half of the NFL, even this one would be like the Patriots 3rd toughest game because I think Gruden is doing a pretty good job. Carr could always implode but they may have a playoff team in 2020.

I think we just have a tough schedule the whole year. At least in the first 6 games we played at home 4 times

This is almost a must win game. If they can get to 6-1, would need 4 wins to probably secure a wild card, and 5 to win division. @NYG, vs Redskins are possibly t he only two gimme's (even though giants are playing better). LAC looks to be much easier but its on the road, vs carolina looks tougher by the week. Its early, but if they win 10 games with this schedule, Lafluer/Gute Deserve some huge credit.

Chargers game may technically be on the road, but that will 100% be a home game.
I drove down to San Diego for a Chargers/Packers preseason game a few years ago and there were so many Packer fans that the Chargers were booed in their own stadium.
The Chargers now play in a soccer stadium in f*** Carson. Not a soul in this city cares about them.

I hate CBS games but there's a good chance Nantz and Romo will be doing it.

I wanted to go to this game, seeing the Pack in a small venue would have been cool. But it's $375+ for end zone seats. Add airfare and hotel...nope. Still considering going to KC but those are going to cost $275+

Crazy to face two teams in back to back weeks after a bye week. The reason this is big is because we are about to have a bunch of road games soon.

To stretch the craziness one more week, it's two teams coming off bye weeks, then playing @ the Chiefs after their Thursday night game.

Josh Jackson played ZERO snaps on defense yesterday. He only played ST. Any word on his development? Could he fill in for savage while savage is out?

Generally people don't go unplayed if they are talented at their job. The coaching staff has a lot of time and film of him.

Yeah, I don't think he's any good. I trust Pettine and the guys he uses. If he can't crack the field over Chandon Sullivan, I think that's pretty telling.

Ibraheim Campbell is eligible to come off the PUP list this week. Hopefully he's ready to go, that could be a nice boost.

7-3 gets us to 12-4.
