Panthers Lead Up - Cam Placed on IR

McCaffery could destroy us.

And our offense needs to wake up.

We thought Zeke would destroy us too and we know how that went. That said McCaffery still could destroy us.

Need to just completely forget this week that was all around as ugly as it gets. Silver lining is that everyone else of note also lost this week for the most part so doesn't hurt us too much.

Helps us in the division. Fewer games for anyone to catch up

But 1st or 2nd seed seems unlikely

Saints? 49ers? Seahawks? Or are we already conceding a first round bye?

Saints are on a bye, Seahawks are in overtime and could still lose and also already have 2 losses. 49ers obviously won but we also still play them and I don't expect them to run the table either way, especially since the Saints and 49ers still play each other.

Yes it sucks but most of the other teams that matter also losing takes some of the edge off.

Probably going to have to go 13-3 and win the 49ers game to get a playoff bye. Most seasons we'd be fine (for a bye) at 7-2, but the Niners and Saints just won't lose.

Bye is preferable of course but after the last 2 miserable seasons I'll be happy to get into the tournament

#3 seed hosting MIN/SEA/CAR is the ceiling now.

You're right and it sucks. Now we're going to have to play wild card weekend and likely have to play @Saints and @49ers to get the Super Bowl. Massive difference in that and having a bye, then having the warm weather 49ers and the dome Saints have to come to Lambeau in January. We basically have to hope the 49ers and Saints lay couple eggs like we did today, combined with us going at least 6-1 the rest of the way to have any shot at a bye.

Niners have Saints, Seattle twice, Ravens, Rams, Pack. Saints have easier schedule

Huge game because that Niners game could be a loss.....next thing you know you're on a three game losing streak. Win and you more than likely win 3 of your next four.

Either way I think 4th place is the best we can do. Can't complain....didn't think we would win this many games.

We’d have to win out but assuming the saints beat the niners but niners still win their division we would have the 2 seed. Or maybe lose one of our final 7 and niners drop one other game. I think saints pretty much have the 1 seed locked up if they beat SF. Saints have such an easy schedule. It would take them having some clunkers (maybe some unlikely losses to division opponents like ATL or CAR) but I don’t see that happening. I just feel like this defense has come back down to earth enough that we couldn’t survive a mediocre offensive game in the playoffs. I feel like it’s back to this team being Rodgers or bust to win a super bowl. This Panthers game seems pretty tough all of sudden after today.

Pack should win the next three but can settle with 2 of three then beat chi and det to win division. If they want homefield need to win the next three plus San Fran.

This team is still very much in play for a bye, hell, they'd be in the driver's seat for one if they simply win the Niners game. A loss against an AFC team isn't going to matter in the grand scheme.

Yep a bye is very attainable, after the Car game the Pack gets to rest and regroup. That in itself is a favorable time for a staycation.

Finishing 6-2 from here on out I think is a good forecast if they revive the team unity. Schedule a roster bowling night. Is Brett Favre's Steakhouse still a thing?

Godgers is still healthy-ish. Some guys always come from nowhere to become late-season stalwart guys. I am pegging Lazard and Jace for that role. Maybe Gute pulls a rabbit or two out of a hat on the waiver wire.

I picked 11-5 for the season and even that is a pleasant surprise by many expectations. It is an offensive driven league, and even if this past game was completely offensive. The team does have capable players compared to yesteryears.

The defense needs to adjust. Thee offense requirements are similar. Aaron Jones is still an x-factor back.

Hopefully Bakhtiari starts playing better. He's not having a good season.

Packers Twitter is hilarious. Bitching about Packers not getting a receiver then Adam's gets back and theyre bitching about focusing too much on getting him the ball.

Anyoone who watched the game could see it was more than just tunnel vision on Adam's. The o line was trash. Might be the worst I've seen them play with penalties and giving up pressures. Then the defense couldn't get off the field. It was a multitude of things. Adam's coming back and being force fed the ball was a small part but not the reason for the **** show.

Most likely done for the season.

Pettine absolutely has to send more than 4 rushers against a young QB. I totally understand not wanting to blitz, because obviously if you can get home with a four man rush, that's the best thing possible for a defense. But if the Smiths' are being slowed down, nobody else is getting to the QB with any sort of consistency. Please send pressure and force Kyle Allen to make mistakes. I'm resigned to the fact that CMC is going to have a big game, but if you can win the turnover battle, it might not matter all that much.

So Panthers returned some of their team tickets. I go in the site to see if they're affordable. Packers ticket office selling them for above face value. Lol
