ATL Week 13

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Tue Nov 26, 2019 5:19 pm

Game of the year so far, Ravens/Niners is Sunday noon because CBS has the doubleheader game (Raiders/Chiefs) and NBC wants to keep Patriots in prime time. That sucks.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Might be helpful for us having them play a noon game all the way out east, at least.

Lions' 3rd stringer looks better than any backup we've had since Flynn

I haven't seen much of the Bills this season, but they seem like that typical team that is good enough to make you think they're going to do something cool. Then **** it up by doing a bunch of dumb things.

Bills with the nice trick play for a touchdown

Can anyone remember the last time we saw the Packers run any type of trick play on offense?

Pretty sure they tried something earlier this year that fell incomplete.

Their timing on those kinds of plays and screens is always off because McCarthy never tried them. They just aren't used to it.

I guess the flea flicker counts. The execution on that was ugly lol

I was thinking more along the lines of a WR/RB pass that we’ve seen plenty of teams pull off over the years. Big Mike clearly wasn’t a fan of those

I love seeing Dallas lose, but the only bad thing if they don't come back and win today is that Jason Garrett will probably get fired. I've been saying it for years about Dallas and it's the same thing I said about the Packers with McCarthy, no matter how much talent Dallas has, they'll never be a serious threat as long as Jason Garrett is the head coach. You almost want Dallas to win just enough so that Garrett can keep his job and keep the Cowboys from ever being a serious threat in the NFC.

This really opens the door for Philly. And it's funny because I said it back in September and I'll say it again now. If there's a team in the NFC that could sneak into the playoffs with a 9-7 record and crash the party and get to the Super Bowl, it's the Philadelphia Eagles. Philly is built for the playoffs and they can beat anyone when they get serious and come to play.

That game has me thinking less of anyone who played a close game against the Cowboys, namely the Saints and the Vikes.

Niners are clearly the cream of the crop.

Dan Quinn deserved to lose that game by 2. What a horrendous decision. It was McCarthy-esque.

I want to see a team run the flea flicker/reverse/wr pass play 7-8 times in a game. The defense would start to catch on but it's still hard to go against your instincts. And usually there's a running lane even if the pass isn't there.

One of these 2-8 teams should do it.
