I'm sure Cobb is elated.

Is Kellen Moore staying there? That will be interesting.

Once you put the keys and cell phone in the bowl, Jerry has you forever.

I can't imagine retaining Moore. I'll also be surprised, somewhat, if McCarthy calls the plays.

He probably noticed that McCarthy never seemed to lose to Dallas, even that one year without Rodgers and the Cowboys were up like 20+ points at halftime.
Nice situation for him. It will pay well--salary plus all the extras of being the head coach in Dallas. And he has a good QB and a physical RB. His offense was at its best when the passing game was paired with a really physical RB--Starks for a short stretch and Lacy for a longer stretch. Always wished we could have more guys like that. I know we won the Super Bowl without trading for Marshawn Lynch that year, but I think we would have been so dominant for the next 5 years (and no Seattle threat) if we had given up the 3rd for him. It turned out to be Alex Green, sigh.
Glad he probably won't be taking Jon-Eric Sullivan from GB, since Jerry Jones is already the GM.

Good luck to MM. I think he's a good guy and a decent coach who can get the Cowboys back to basics.
If they can keep their pad level low, that is.

And avoid 'significant injuries'

I think he'll do well, the year away was probably a good thing.

Another reason to root against the Cowboys. Cool.

Hopefully nobody in Dallas has knees or ankles.

I mean, McCarthy allegedly spent the year "learning about analytics," which makes me wonder what tf he was doing all those years in Green Bay.

Same SB titles as Payton and more playoff wins. I'm glad we made a change but he's not a horrible coach. Especially if he's changed his thinking on analytics. We'll see.

Yeah, he seemed to be great at motivating guys earlier in his time at Green Bay. Wonder if he has an Andy Reid time resurrection.......or fired in 2 years
