Me too. Pretty crazy that they have 3 tight ends better than any of ours. This is our weakest position, by far. The draft doesn't look to promising either.

This seems like a big number for Hill.

He's a fun story but he's completed 6/13 passes for a little over 100yds in his career. He had under 400 yrds total yrd rushing and receiving last year. I wouldn't pay over 10mil per year for that production.

Yes, but you will have to wait until next year unless are talking about trading for him.

Yeah, trade for him. I feel like in cases like these, the team that declines usually tries to find a trade partner. Might only cost a 3rd or 4th? Or maybe they'd have interest in Lane Taylor.

I wonder if Taylor sticks around this year. All three of the draftees are works-in-progress at best. None of them appear to be NFL ready any time soon. Turner was a very mixed bag for performance too.

I’m sure LaFleur knows enough about him to make a decision one way or the other.

I'm not trading a 3rd for a guy who has 6 TDs over three seasons and hasn't broken 900 yards in a season.

Touché. I probably overvalued him because of draft status and where he was taken. Either way I’d consider a move for him.

I mean if he was worth a 3rd in a trade he'd probably be worth the 5th year option. Actually its not probably

The Bears are declining Trubisky's 5th Year option. Not too surprising, but absolutely hilarious after they traded up for him over Mahomes and Watson.

I wonder who are the boom/bust candidates from the top ten for 2020?

In 2024 my bet for most success:
Chase Young
Derrick Brown
Isaiah Simmons
probably Jeff Burrow (Still, he's got a lot of heavy lifting to fix a broken Cinci team)

Most likely candidates to have their fifth year not-renewed:
Jeff Okudah
Tua Tagovailoa (heresy, I know)
Andrew Thomas

(not necessarily flops, but seriously under-performing to expectations).

Herbert either becomes god-on-earth, or a journeyman with a 10 year career bouncing from team to team.
