I know that it isn't even being discussed right now, but a bubble seems basically impossible, right?

I mean I think at best you could do like 4 pods or something and seriously alter the schedule and/or maybe fly everyone privately from one to the other for a portion of the season.

But 1 pod, maybe 2 in a bubble...you'd have like 5,000 players and staff and would have to somehow have enough facilities for practice, meetings, etc. for every team and a stadium that can handle NFL camera angles and locker room for distancing...you would also not be able to concurrently play the games as 75% of them are on a Sunday in normal times. You'd have to play them back-to-back-to-back, which would be fun as a fan, but would be a scheduling nightmare for the league to try to keep teams from having too short of rest, etc. That's because I think you'd probably only have 1-2 suitable stadiums for games for each pod.

This works easily for the NBA, might have been a slight challenge that the players didn't seem to want for MLB, and is borderline impossible for NFL.

Yea, I don't think a bubble is going to be possible, which is why I don't think we'll have a football season.

I'd agree about the limited future of this season. Football, Basketball, and Hockey are at big risk of this pestilence jumping the tracks. They're all non-stop full-contact sports. Any infected player who actually plays is going to spread it to the rest of the guys on the field/court. Baseball has a better shot to make it work and they're already stumbling..... :(

I think it's going to have some real twists and turns like we're seeing in the MLB, but we're gonna have it.

NCAAF...I'm more optimistic than I was a few weeks ago but I am still not as close to certain.

The NFL is reportedly considering a policy that would allow teams to pump in fan noise during games to compensate for the lack of attendees because of the coronavirus pandemic.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported the news Wednesday.

Television networks were already prepared to simulate the crowd reaction if the league opted for more natural sounds instead.

Fox lead play-by-play man Joe Buck discussed the situation with Sirius XM's Andy Cohen (via Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia) in May.

"It's pretty much a done deal," he said. "I think whoever's gonna be at that control is going to have to be very good at their job and be realistic with how a crowd would react depending on what just happened on the field. It's really important."
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

^^^^Dumb idea.... Really dumb IMO. Once started, they won't ever discontinue the practice and it will be abused, just as the Vikes's do.

Yup and we play the Vikes in game 1. They'll go crazy with the noise and then claim they didn't really know the new policy after the fact.

Earl Thomas, go to the Texans or another AFC team. Don't be a frontrunner and go to the 49ers.

Just think, a month ago the Cowboys were going to trade multiple picks to pay Jamal Adams an insane amount of money. Now they can get a better (and of course older) safety at a discount while keeping their picks.

He's been unprofessional for a while. But in this case he punched a fellow DB and posted video of the practice on social media.

Hmmm, wonder if he has some kind of CTE thing going on? I don't recall him being a bad locker room guy other than flicking off Pete Carroll as he was carted off. But who knows what isn't reported

Me too.....reasonably sober was high on him too I believe.

Look at it this way. We saved ourselves 59 million by not drafting him.

It's funny most Cards fans I know out here in AZ hate this signing and feels he's a meh player.
