first pick that makes sense as to where they were drafted.

Knowing nothing about him, I like him already because of his pops.

Would appear to have all the physical attributes to be a OT, but looks like technique wise may have to start career at guard, just based on PFF analysis.

Finally a good pick!
Only took 6 rounds. He could replace Wagner as starter at some point.

Yeah, I wonder if the plan is to coach him and hope he can take that RT spot next year or the year after.

CBS guru's assessment
Jon Runyan OL, MICH
Height: 6-4, Weight: 306
Runyan tested through the roof at the combine but doesn't play to that level of athleticism on film. Plenty of experience. Guard at the next level. Quality depth for Green Bay up front but needs to get strong and play with better balance. (Chris Trapasso)

Sensical pick here. I could see him becoming a starter at some point.

Re: 6th Round - Jon Runyan
Maybe we play this guy at guard and kick Turner outside to tackle next year?

Would rather kick him off the team.

Re: 6th Round - Jon Runyan
On paper, the right side of the line has winnable spots.
69-74-63 left-to-center, then it is somewhat open. Turner and Wagner are for sure pencilled in and will make the team because of their contracts. But they may not start. They have to bring their best play to avoid having Runyan or Lucas Patrick start at RG. If any of the tackles like Leglue or Nijman or a rookie makes a jump, RT.
If there’s no season, Runyan can use the year to get stronger. Good developmental year for him with a clear way off the field to get better.

Yep, very well said. Turner is below average at best and Wagner is an unknown. I do believe a positive from this draft was getting 3 offensive lineman in the 6th. We've typically done well with late round lineman. Let them battle it out and someone should emerge.
Edited to add: Turner gave up 6 sacks this year. 3rd worst in the entire league for a guard.
