I think it was turner and not taylor cut so far.

I was today's years old when I realized we had both a malik taylor and malik turner in camp.

I'd guess we see a move or two before next Sunday but here's the initial 53.

This is a good point:

Rodgers was under the impression that they were going to keep Kumerow.

I’m very intrigued by the practice squad signing of Robert Foster

So we are going to win in New Orleans by 10, but get swept by the Bears? And score 8 against a Viking D with 2 new starters at interior DLine, and 2 new starters at CB?

What computer simulated this, an Atari 2600?

7-9 is what I predicted after our draft. I stand by the record they predicted. How they got there in a simulation is bizarre. We aren’t beating the Saints and Bucs both on the road and zero chance we get swept by the Bears.

Hope I’m wrong, but we did nothing to address our weaknesses in the draft. Slow on the outside of our defensive line, weak at inside LB, no real starter at tight end and 1 legit starting WR. We did get a 3rd sting QB trading up in the first round though. :banghead:

So last year I was saying we should have looked into trading for Emmanuel Sanders if we sent the Broncos to 0-3.

viewtopic.php?p=78434166#p78434166

Sanders got traded, but not to us, because the asking price got to high.

Time to start looking at some of the 0-2 teams and see who we might be able to get early before the prices get too high again. We all probably agree that TE is a weak spot with Jace's drops. The Texans are 0-2 with a trip to PIT next week. If they lose, we should take a look at Jordan Akins. He makes less than $1 mil both this year and next year, and is solid. 9 catches, 94 yards, 1 TD through 2 games.

I don't see the Texans punting on the season this early and selling. There's too much pressure on O'Brien and Watson to sell. But I agree they should shop for another receiving target.

With Baltimore handing out $100M to their LT, what are the chances GB is even getting in the game with Bakhtiari? I just can't see them shelling out $20M/yr on that spot when they appear to have good OL depth

I think it’s becoming more and more likely that Bakhtiari is gone next year. So far it seems he’s hell bent on being the highest paid OL in the league. I don’t blame him. He probably deserves it but you wanna avoid doling out money for previous performances and focus more on what performance you’ll get over the life of the contract.

I also just can’t see a scenario where we have both Rodgers and Bakh on monster deals with guys like Davante and Jaire coming up on new deals, not to mention the other three big FA’s we have this offseason. They’re certainly in a tough spot moving forward.

Good news. I have to think we're coming away from this deadline with Will Fuller or a different #2 or #3 WR.

Crazy that he destroyed his ankle in the very next game too after signing that extension. Football is a brutal game.

A 4th for AJ Green sounds like a no brainer. Im not sure the cap hit as a half year rental. But he could definitely be that andre rison missing WR.

Am I the only one who thinks we should focus on trading for D#?

I am pretty comfortable with our O when Lazard and Jones come back (at least until next offseason).
