Game 1: Packers @ Vikings - 12:00PM on FOX

Vikings favored by 2.5.

There won't be a crowd at Humpty Dump 2.0. Danielle Hunter is on IR and won't play.

Who knows who the Packers will toss out at RT. Turner is Doubtful. Though he wasn't great last year, anyway.

The run defense will be key. No big plays.

This is going to feel weird, but it's always a joy to watch Kirk throw a couple picks.

Go Pack!

I’m surprised Vikings are favored with essentially no HFA. Vikings D seems very vulnerable as it’s super young at CB and Hunter is out. Packers should be able to move the ball. I expect the Smith’s and Clark to be in Cousins face all day again like the meeting in Minnesota last year.

I was wondering how long it would take for a Viking fan to say Justin Jefferson will have a Randy Moss-like rookie year. Lo and behold, it's their beat writer of all people:

Justin Jefferson will have as close to a Randy Moss-level rookie season as any receiver has had.

A scorching-hot prediction would have Jefferson surpassing Moss' 69 receptions for 1,317 yards and 17 touchdowns as a rookie in 1998. But given how often the Vikings execute two-receiver sets and that Jefferson is behind Bisi Johnson as the No. 2 receiver, it's likely that he'll gradually come along before being worked into the game plan regularly. By midseason, the former LSU star will hover around the 35-catch mark. By season's end, he'll cross the 1,000-yard threshold and cement one of the best rookie receiver seasons in recent memory. -- Courtney Cronin

Interesting take by Cousins, not what I would expect. He always struck me as a wuss, crumbles under the spotlight.

There was a lot of talk here last year about how EQ was a significant loss. Is he really a healthy scratch?

EQ thing could simply be Turner is the better special teams player and that spot isn't slated for an offensive role.

Wagner not starting is a bit concerning because I'd assume that means he's looked like ****. Now if Jenkins can handle the RT spot that could be a great thing in the long run.

Jenkins at RT in the NFL makes me a bit nervous, but the man is a stud and has started all over the line in college. He's an all-pro so I'm not counting him out. It's not like when we put Lane Taylor there a few seasons ago lol

I know but BG incredible silence in addressing his needs (RG and WR) is already rearing its ugly head a fractured oline.
Jenkins was a all pro guard so because BG cant draft or sign a quality RG he now plays out of position absolutely amaxing.BG is as useless as tits on a bull

Didn't like the play calls in the redzone. Two screens?

Not good playcalling once they got to the 10.

Alil too predictable in the redzone

Didn't even get an opportunity to target Adams which is almost always money down there

Looked great until the end there. No complaints though.

Time to sack Kirk into oblivion
