I'm intrigued with recent reports that they've been playing him more on the outside. Willing to see what he can do there, but you're absolutely right... he's pretty much toast, especially if Kris Barnes continues to flash and if Kamal Martin continues to make strides once he's healthy.

I could only listen to the game on radio, so no personal viewing of performances. McCarren was frequently critical of Josh Jackson coverage. Is he another guy on the bubble for cutting next off-season?

Williams is our best short-yardage runner and I'm not even sure it's close.

Jackson got kinda beat up in zone a few times with a lot of coverage slanted to the other side of the field.

Wouldn't have said he played good. Wouldn't have said bad either though considering I dont expect him to be good in zone coverage anyways especially when the zone is slanted to the other side of the field

Low bar possibly

All the movement and scheming guys open on offense is the anti-BigMac offense if I ever have seen one. Just a thing of beauty when I am watching and fall for maybe the first or second decoy option only see them pull some other rabbit out of a hat.

Speaking of Big Mac, heard a stat that he is 10-20-1 in his last 31 games.

I don't know how Jackson grades out on special teams but he's the very definition of emergency/only play him if no one else is available DB.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I thought Hallman looked better than Jackson last night.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

They've taken care of business against weak teams and bad QB's for quite a while now. But weak teams don't make the playoffs. Getting smoked by good teams won't win a trophy, and that's been going on for quite a while too. Stats don't lie

Look around the league. 14 teams have either 0 win or 1 win.

It's pretty ridiculous to call New Orleans a weak team at this point given their track record. They're one year removed from being 13-3 and beat the 3-1 Tampa Bay Buccaneers. They lost to us, and the Raiders first game in Vegas. They're 2-2 and we're 4 games in. Never mind the QBs we've faced being Kirk Cousins, Matt Stafford, Drew Brees, and Matt Ryan. That's not a group of "bad QB's."

I don't know why the false equivalency is being drawn. Stats DON'T lie, this is a COMPLETELY different offense than we saw last year.

This isn't even an argument - just check the scores of the games. Bringing up garbage stuff about other teams means nothing. The Packers lost 80-5 for Christ sake. The track record doesn't lie no matter how much smoke you try to blow

LOL wtf are you even talking about? BrInGiNg Up GaRbAgE StUfF aBoUt OtHeR tEaMs MeAnS nOtHiNg! That's EXACTLY what you're bringing up in an attempt to, for whatever reason, discredit the 4-0 start. It's actually comically hypocritical that you flip it again and say "track record doesn't lie" when you're using our own track record from last season to make a point.

Your bringing up "garbage stuff about other teams" shown below:

Are you getting dizzy spinning in these circles?

80-5? Stats don't lie, but you do with the hyperbole? The only person blowing smoke here is you with your insistence that the Saints are a "weak team" when they're 2-2 with a win over the Bucs who are consistently considered a "threat" in the NFC by nearly every media member. Track record means nothing unless you consider the Saints not being a truly "weak team" since 2005. Go ahead and bookmark this. The Saints will make the playoffs this year.

But sure, let's look at "the scores."

2019:
Bears W 10-3
Vikings W 21-16
Broncos W 27-16
Eagles L 34-27

Total points scored: 85
Margin of Victory: +16

2020:
Total points scored: 152
Margin of Victory: 51

Obviously the same, no difference at all.

Or use a lead blocker. I think it's pretty weird to have such a tight formation with only one back

Hiring Matt LaFleur is the biggest homerun the Packers have hit since drafting Aaron Rodgers. The Packers haven't felt this legit (to me at least) since the Holmgren days. Sherman and McCarthy had some good teams, but they were mediocre head coaches riding Favre and Rodgers' coattails and it was obvious. Like Holmgren, LaFleur is championship level on his own merits. 17-3 and has already coached in an NFC championship game and it's not llike he jumped into a great situation when he showed up. I think I might be sold on this guy....lol.

Not sure I even go there now. He turned down a lucrative deal in the offseason, but now wants a visit as a last resort because no one else wants him ??
Those often turn into money grabs
