Colts Lead Up

Colts are 6-3 and will be a good test. They looked pretty good in whipping the Titans last week and have had an extra 3 days off.
Indy's defense is 4th in points allowed, 19.
I like that we're inside and can unleash our offense (hopefully).
Adams was gimpy after hurting his ankle. Hopefully he doesn't miss more time.
Lazard should be back. Hopefully MVS continues his resurgence.
Game is at 3:25, originally a nooner.

I'm more worried about the defense. Hines looked good, and the Packers wifty tackling may allow Taylor a breakout game.

Picking up Hines this week just to start him vs packers D. However, i think the packers win this one. these road dome games with limited fans, are perfect for the super soft packers. packers need to get pressure, rivers is the least mobile QB in the NFL and they just need to make him feel a little uncomfortable.

I worry I've made fun of the Rivers signing so much karma will come back to bite me and hell throw for like 400 yards and 4 TDs this week.
I still don't understand how anyone could have watched him last year and thought he was someone you wanted to give $20 mil to start.

While I worry about the Colts run game, Rivers might be what the doctor ordered for the Packers pass rush.

I agree, but he looked like he found the fountain of youth in the game against us last year in LA. Hopefully that doesn't happen again on Sunday.

We thought the same thing about Brady (statue in the pocket), and he carved the defense up with ease. Can't say I'm gonna feel comfortable with this defensive unit against even mediocre offenses until I start to see some consistency. Big test is for the O-line against maybe the best Front-7 in the league.

Wondering if you posted that last year also before GB got their ass kicked to the tune of Rivers going off for 21/28 & 294 yards?

Probably did and then posted before they played tampa. Packers like to get their assed whooped vs physical lines so I'm assuming they get blown out this week. I hope they prove me wrong.

Defense wasn't really the issue that day. Offense did nothing all game

Rivers torched Pettine's defense last year with the Chargers. You can be a statue if you can walk up to the line of scrimmage and know exactly where the ball is going to go.

I did like that I saw much more man to man this past game than the whole season to this point in the secondary. I hope Pettine keeps switching it up in the future.

As of Wednesday, not sounding real encouraging for either D. Adams or J. Alexander for Sunday....

Much more encouraging report than a couple of days ago.
