Lions Lead Up

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Mon Dec 7, 2020 3:23 pm

Stafford looked good against a Bears team that appears to have packed it in. Lions are only a game out of the wild card.

Packers open as 8 point favorites.

Not sure why this is a 3:25 game but I like those.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Don’t know if this was posted in the Game Thread:

Don't know if this was posted, but I found it interesting. Is he somehow better as a tackle?

Sounds like Greene, Winn, and Ervin all are going to be out quite a while.

Any concerns about a post-Patricia energy boost for the Lions? Everything I've read so far, is that his relationship with the players got to be pretty bad. Bevell got them playing well yesterday.

Gary has been good, but Smith drops back a lot and Gary never does.

That sucks for Greene. He hurt himself when he landed trying to make a shoestring tackle on the punt return.

Yeah makes sense. His athletism/feet are his best asset and he can put that to use better against edge ruhers vs going against the big strong guys inside.

He's been a good player for them this season, before the year I would have assumed he would be a cap casualty this spring but now I expect him to be their starting RT next year.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

They were down two scores most of the game against a bad Bears team until the Bears really Lions'd it up in the last couple minutes. If we play semi-decently, we'll win fairly comfortably.

Too bad about Greene. He has been playing well. Thank goodness we signed Austin. I like Ervin but the poor guy can't stay healthy.

I saw this comment on what the Packers need to show in the last weeks over on FB: Run Defense, More Consistency.... Run DMC if you will. :D

Isn’t Greene always the guy that throws himself at the defender and misses by five yards?

The end of season attrition is starting to bite - but that's true across the league

Boy, Sternberger can't catch a break. Each time when he may have had a chance for a breakthrough, he gets a fluke injury that takes him off-line for a stretch. When he comes back, he's practically starting over.

He also sucks, so there is that....
