Game 16: Packers at Bears - 3:25 PM - Fox

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Sun Jan 3, 2021 1:45 pm

Let's get that #1 seed. Even sweeter if we can knock the Bears out of the playoffs.

Kevin Burkhardt and Daryl Johnston on the call.

Craig Wrolstad is the ref.

34 degrees at game time.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Just run the normal offense, please. Lets not out-think ourselves with the Bakh injury and get too conservative or get away from what we normally do.

I want to see Dillon get a couple of series. Want to see more of what we got with that guy especially if the NFC goes thru Lambeau

I bet they hedge their bets in the first series or two and give whoever is going to play LT some backfield help.

Bakh missed some time earlier this season so we've dealt with this before. Chicago will come with everything though. I can see some screen passes and draws.

Bears fan here in peace!

Hope we keep our momentum and finally slay the dragon but regardless, I hope both teams can make it out of today with no major injuries.

Think this is going to be a fun one. This era of Bears/Packers started with Mack dominating that first half of week 1 in 2018, Rodgers being Godgers and winning in the second half, then us dominating and winning the division against y'all in 2018, since then you have absolutely owned us but since week 12, David Montgomery has been an absolute star for us and Mitch has really been pretty freaking good after looking as lost as ever against you guys.

It doesn't get better than this! We get to find out if this real against the cream of the crop.

It's hard not to have 2010 and 2013 or even week 1 in 2018 in the back of my head but that's why they play the game.

Good luck boys.

I’d be inclined to first make CHI prove they can capitalize on our Bakhlessness *before* adjusting but idk. Im ok with minor tweaks like you said. MD made good point that we’ve played without Bakh before.

Wonder if we’ll see any of that 5/6 man front defense we saw vs TEN today. Probably not, but it might not be a bad idea- stop Montgomery, make Mitch beat you. Or is Trubisky too scramble-y for too much man-defense?

We went 2-1 without Bahk but didn't run very well. We beat Houston (96 rushing yards), lost to Minny (79) and beat the Niners (111).

That ball never went out of bounds. I don’t get how they get it at the 40.

Cobb did this a couple times on kickoffs. I think as long as you're out of bounds before you touch the ball, the ball is deemed out of bounds so it's like a kickoff out of bounds.
