NFC Championship - Buccaneers at Packers - 2:05 - Fox

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Sun Jan 24, 2021 1:23 pm

Snow is expected to end by noon and shouldn't be a factor. At kickoff it's expected to be cloudy, 30 degrees, 9 mph winds.

No coming up short this season. Let's win this game.

I'm pretty confident going into this one.. Rodgers at home, with a chance to build his case against the GOAT. I love it.

Rodgers is going to shine.

I think we either win by 2-3 scores (35-20ish) or lose by 2-3 scores, depending on if our offense clicks like usual or if they can disrupt what we like to do (stop the run, pressure Rodgers, take away some of our pet plays).

I’m leaning towards “win” though. Feel fairly confident.

I don't drink a lot, especially during the day, but I might need to have a few to take the edge off.

I think the pack will try a shot to MVS early and will also hand off to Austin in the jet sweep. Have to do some things to slow down those LBs and keep the safeties from coming to the box. Do that early and the run should open up later.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

Found myself thinking MVS might be the difference in this one, most notably if he drops the two passes that would have been 120 yards and 2 TD we lose. If he catches them both we win. And if he gets one, then it's somebody elses job to win this thing.

I won’t be drinking but I definitely picked the wrong week to stop sniffing glue

Setting up to be a great day hopefully. Win this game and then we get the AFC game and Bucks game. I'm doing shrimp and ribs on the grill.

I have a family thing at my cousin’s and I JUST found out he, somehow, doesn’t have a working TV set-up yet in his new house.

I’m going to miss the first half basically.

These days are the best. I think I enjoy the lead up more than the game.

Gave up a few vices for 2021. Trying to decide between heroin or coke for this game.

Yup as terrifying as it is to say this it absolutely could come down to MVS. As maddening as he is the dude has legit scare the defense speed and if you hit one to him early it can impact how a D plays you because he can run by a CB if it's one on one.

Speaking of maddening players King matters in this one too. If he can somewhat hold up in man coverage the pack can blitz brady more. Now he doesn't have to be great because I highly doubt this is going to be low scoring so the packs D just needs to be good enough.

King is playing, nice. His size is good for covering Evans. Tramon active too--punt returns?

The piece on Ethan Haley and Aaron Jones was a tear-jerker

Only way they lose is if they beat themselves. They won’t. They are peaking.
