2021 Packers News, Trades, Transactions - Sternberger Released

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Thu Apr 29, 2021 11:18 pm

Other thread maxed.

Give me Bosa in the package.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

If you can get Bosa and the picks for Rodgers, you do that. Elite defense with a rookie scale QB is the modern path to an Owl.

I'm fine with it Love seems to be their guy going forward. Might as well sell as high as possible.

Maybe if his name was Denise instead of Dennis.

What pisses me off most is him going public with this while must knowing that the financial restrictions make dealing him a nightmare. It means we've now got a **** show to look forward to to from now until he's moved, and unless something crazy happens with the draft tonight, the return will likely suck. I'd love a package around the #3, a 2nd, and a player (Bosa isn't reasonable, but maybe Samuel is), but the financial hurdles are probably too much and I don't see Gute wanting this on his resume.

Since the other thread is locked, I just want to use this thread to say Trey Wingo is a **** dingus, and not just because of the tweet RS posted.

Also, the still in his prime MVP of the league demanding a trade is so much worse than anything Favre did it makes me wonder if some of you are on drugs.

Ok, so Bosa, 3, 43 and the next two years of 2nd round picks? I can live with that if it were to be offered( I am not suggesting that it was, just what I would want to send him to SF)

Where is the Bosa talk coming from? Just fan speculation?

I just don't see how they can trade him with the cap hit.

I'm more annoyed by the "He's upset that they won't commit to him" narrative being spun.

He's in year 1 of a 4 year extension that they gave him when they really didn't have to.

That's definitely something that bugs me, too. Probably the main thing I find frustrating about this whole thing. If they could trade him, I'd at least get him going public now just as a last gasp chance to take that Niners package is coming to the forefront.

But whatever. I'm sure they've communicated that to him. I'm guessing that there's a part of him that wants to repay them for embarrassing him with the Love pick last year.

My gut says this one is the narrative being spun because it's actually legit and Rodgers just in general feels spurned that we aren't committing to him like he feels we should be. Extension aside. Like, this feels exactly like how Rodgers actually sees it.

ETA: Which is **** wild, BTW, and why I said last thread that he's fragile and weird and I'm sick of him.

Favre had a borderline MVP season right before that whole fiasco. Also, Aaron is not in his prime.

I really think you're just forgetting about the absolute zoo that was the Favre fiasco 13 years ago. This isn't even in the same league in terms of coverage or in terms of Aaron's actions. But hell, this is still in its infancy. Check in again with me if Aaron is still doing this in three months.

Yeah, that was my response to them apparently not having their first next couple of seasons, so that is to make up the difference.
