2021 Fantasy Football

Post#1 » by DigitalFool » Wed Aug 18, 2021 10:52 pm

Draft dates are set for the coming season, let’s talk some fantasy football!

Auction keeper question - $200 budget

I can keep C Ridley @ 19 or M Andrews @ 2
For reference, Yahoo is putting a value of 34 on Ridley and 18 on Andrews (I feel like they always go higher than Y! projections on draft day). I kept Andrews last season just for the value play but leaning towards Ridley this year. Thoughts ?

I would keep Ridley, think he will do even better now that Julio is gone.

I have the 2nd pick in my draft, I think McCaffrey will go 1, should I go Derrick Henry, Alvin Kamara, or Dalvin Cook? Thanks.

What is everyone's go to site for Fantasy? I've been a life-long ESPN person, but my league I've been in for awhile isn't doing it this year. Long story short, I was thinking of taking a look at another site to try fantasy on for this season. Was looking at CBS and NFL.com as my main options, but I know there are a bunch of smaller ones as well.

In a league with friends where you keep 2 keepers. Debating between Tyreek Hill and Justin Jefferson. Jefferson younger age has me unable to decide

My other keeper is CMC

Are you trolling or serious?

I'm seriously considering taking Davante #1 overall (in a keeper PPR league where Henry, CMC, Cook are gone)

it's a very tough debate between Davante, Zeke, or Kamara for me

I feel like Davante is the safest, given it's a contract year and he has incredible chemistry with Rodgers

Not trolling at all. Adams would be my #1 or #2 (if I knew CMC could stay healthy) in PPR. Only thing that scares me is I hate to draft Packers....if they get hurt it's a double whammy.

How did everyone's teams shape out during their drafts?

My roster ended up being

QB Herbert / Burrow
RB McCaffrey / Mixon / Jacobs / Sermon / Dillon / Moss
WR Jefferson / Claypool / DeVonta Smith / Terrace Marshall Jr
TE Pitts / Fant
D/ST Steelers
K Justin Tucker

I also have Michael Thomas on IR.

Yahoo paper champ, grade A, predicted 1 loss and 100 points projected more than 2nd place. So you know my team will fall short. Nonetheless, I’m very happy with my draft:

QB: Murray/Lawrence
WR: Ridley/McLaurin/D. Johnson/Pittman/Samuel
RB: Kamara/Harris/Gaskin/Edmonds/T Williams
TE: Fant/Jarwin
K: Crosby
D: Buffalo

Auction draft tomorrow night and the strategies going in never work.

Started a family league after a few years of not playing at all. I'm going to be so bad.

Haven’t done fantasy in about 20 years but the guys at work needed one more guy so…..

QB Josh Allen
RB Austin Ekeler, De’Andre Swift, Myles Gaskin, Tevin Coleman, James White
WR Tyreke Hill, Tyler Lockett, Tee Higgins, Ju-Ju, Jalen Reagor, Jarvis Landry
TE Noah Fant, Eric Ebron
K Prater
D Tampa Bay

Pretty sure my RB’s will doom me.

Curious why not draft any of the handcuffs? I think if you draft Swift, Jamaal Williams is a must. Ekeler and Gaskin don't really have clear cut handcuffs, so I understand those.

Is this PPR? If so, your RBs could be very good.

Ya, it’s ppr. Like I said, I haven’t done this in 20 some years so I’m not fully into it like most. Glad you guys think I’m okay with my RBs.

I finished my draft yesterday. .5 ppr. I go strong at the running backs but my wrs gonna suck it.

Josh Allen, Joe Burrow

Aaron Jones, Eckler, James Robinson,. Hyde, D Williams

Jeudy, R Anderson, Golladay, M Williams, Hollywood,

Tonyan

Baltimore

Crosby

12 team.

Finished top 3, 3 of the last 4 years.

I always try to take wrs from teams that will be chasing scores in the second half of games. Hopefully a couple of the wrs turn up. Or I will need chase the waivers for a undrafted breakout cat.

Good luck.
I needs shades for this future thing we owning..... 8-) 8-) 8-)

Had a keeper league auction draft that ended up going in a way different direction than I intended (Taylor was a keeper), ended up a bit crowded at RB and WR and potentially a bit weak at QB and TE.

the depth will hopefully come in handy as the season progresses but who tf do I play in Week 1? Need 2 RB's, 2 WR's and one flex out of this group. Scoring is full PPR.

RB's:
Kamara
Barkley
J. Taylor

WR's:
Cooper
Evans
Lockett
Woods

obviously going to play Kamara, do I play both Saquon and Taylor also or start an extra WR?

Rodgers/Lawrence
Edwards-Helaire/Darrel Williams, Swift/Jamaal Williams, Javonte Williams/Melvin Gordon
Davante/Justin Jefferson/Marquise Brown/Michael Pittman/Parris Campbell/MVS
Logan Thomas/Cole Kmet

Was gonna go no RB for first 3 picks
I just missed DK in the 2nd, took Jefferson
Just missed Waller in the 3rd, had to go RB and took Edwards-Helaire.

.5 PPR Yahoo, 12 team:

QB: Brady
RB: A. Gibson
RB: Montgomery
WR: Adams
WR: Metcalf
Flex: Julio Jones
TE: Gesicki

Just missed on RB's I wanted a few times, so decided to load up at WR instead.
