Chiefs Lead Up - Rodgers tests positive for COVID; Love to start

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Sat Oct 30, 2021 12:55 pm

We're on a mini bye, Chiefs will be on a short week, playing Monday night. (that evens out next week when we face Seattle after their bye).

Chiefs have been a big disappointment but they can go off for 40 easily. AFC west is tough and they can't afford to fall too far behind.

We should have Adams, Lazard, MVS, Bahk and King back
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

As far as extra game 17 matchups, we were given a tough one. Chiefs still very dangerous at home, but you have to think we should be able to light up their defense. 40 burger please?

Excited to see MVS and Bahk back. Any info on Myers?

Maybe if his name was Denise instead of Dennis.

this red zone offense tiring me psychologically this season.

It prevents us finishing the games comfortably.

Has to miss the Chiefs game since he's on IR but can come off after that.

Weird, Adams was first announced as out for Covid reason and then Lazard, however Lazard, who isn't vaccinated, will return first.

Glad they are getting playing Giants tonight hopefully they get a false sense of confidence playing against Daniel Jones. My god he is just awful.

Adams tested positive while Lazard was just held out for close contact with Adams from what I understand.

KC putting their season back together. Green Bay is due for a loss. I think Kc wins by 2 scores.

Obv they could flip the switch at any point but the Chiefs are not good right now. Gotta take advantage of the turnovers they are handing defenses at the moment.

Of course the Chiefs could turn it around and light us up but squeezing out a win at home over a terrible team is meaningless.

Mahomes has thrown at least 1 pick in each of the last 7 games.

Chiefs opened as 2.5 point favorites, line quickly moved to Packers -1.

That Chiefs team looks like they are playing with a collective concussion. Hardly recognize the team from the way they played last year before the bowl.

Still dangerous and we are still short handed, but curious to see if this defense can keep being just good enough, or if our offense can up their game another level and start winning in the gold zone once our OL is back.

Not a surprise Rodgers is not on this list. He has looked off this year compared to last.

Well sure, last year was an MVP season. Other than last season (121.5) his 105.7 rating is his best since 2014. And he's been sacked 17 times in (almost) half a season. He was sacked 20 times all last year. His completion percentage of 67.1% is second highest since 2012

Playing with a rag tag offensive line. So while he is not at the MVP level of last season, considering the disarray of his line he's having a fine season.

Don't think you could argue he's been playing like a Top-5 QB this season, but neither has Mahomes. Doesn't mean both guys aren't still Top-5 QB's. PFF's grades usually match the eye test.
