For reference, two years ago in the NFCC at SF, line was 7 in favor of SF.

And I notice that 5.5/6-point spread is the highest of this weekend's games. KC at home is sort of an underdog, favored by 2.5 (3 points usually given to home team); TEN at home by 3.5; TB at home by an even 3.

I wonder if there is some concern for Bosa.

We're going to have to key on their run game big time. That'll be essential.

But I suspect we're going to see some creative play action designed to free Samuel or Kittle. I don't think I trust Jimmy G to make those throws on the road in the cold. But either way, our pass rush will have to get there because I don't want to take that chance.

It would be clutch to have Z and Jaire back for this one.

I would say 49ers are pretty much the team I don't like how we match up against the most. But with that said, not many easy outs in the NFC this year, so I expect a couple of tough games no matter what. Cardinals were probably the team I was hoping to get the most, because Murray just seemed so disinterested and frankly lacking focus, I figured they weren't going very far. Thank god we have homefield though, this year especially it will hopefully be huge.

Isn't there also some concern for Garappalo's shoulder? Though, Lance as a mobile QB may not be ideal for the Packer Defense either.

I freely admit that it could be my 49ers PTSD talking, but I don't like this matchup. That said, I still slightly favor the Packers, but I won't be shocked if it's kind of ugly on defense. Also a little worried about protecting Rodgers with either rusty offensive linemen or inferior ones.

If it's not happening with this Packers team, I'm just gonna accept it's not happening with this era of players. They have the most talented roster they've had in forever, I'm confident in MlF, homefield, and lesser versions of the 49ers and Bucs than we've seen lately.

It's now or never.

Yep, with looming cap problems, aging roster, free agents, this is about as good as it is going to get. Which is why I am going to be ok if everyone goes their own ways after this season.

The fact that SF traveled halfway across the country, played a game and flew back home, and now will be flying halfway across the country again on a short week is really being undermentioned.

Everything is aligned but I'm nervous as hell. One or two fluke plays (and God knows we've seen them as Packer fans) and the season is over.

I guess im in the minority that isnt that worried about this game. SF is banged up bad, packers are getting all pro level guys back. This screams blowout city.

I worry about the matchup because their strengths play into our weaknesses. I do like this being prime time on Saturday night. Feel like Rodgers does especially well in those games

Think MLF may skew a bit scheme rigid but ARod I think capable and willing to override it with eye contact comms with davante. We'll see.
