I wonder if Tom wanted to wait a month or so after the Superbowl so he isn't taking attention away from the players who are still playing.

Brady going for the Favre-ian five acts of Hamlet?

(Favre, Brady, Rogers and others obviously are HoF greats, but they're also major league drama queens as well)

I can't believe I'm giving him any benefit of the doubt, but my guess is that he is actually retiring but didn't want the story to be taken from him. I think Profound is on the right track - probably intended to wait until after Superbowl, or I was thinking maybe Pro Bowl weekend, and he is peeved it leaked early.

Now I kind of hope he comes back to stick it to Schefter and ESPN.

It’s been **** Schefter on this side…I hope other players take note. I still hate how he “leaked” old news on the day of Game 6 in July.

Wouldn't surprise me one bit to see Kansas City obliterate Cincy.

Then looking over at the NFC I think most would agree the Rams should beat the 49ers. I swear to god if Jimmy G makes it to another SB I might puke.

Yeah, if you're into incredibly boring NFL playoff games, Chiefs Bengals is your game. I'll be shocked if the the Bengals make it a game.

Rams 49ers should be a bit better, but I see the Rams winning that one fairly easily. 49ers aren't really that good, they got lucky and got to face Mike McCarthy and then Aaron Rodgers back to back in the playoffs. The 49ers might have lost last week if they had played a 6-11 team that was ready to play.

2 teams with offenses that can score points and niether with a defense that you'd expect to lock a team down...... Seems like the opposite of boring

It won't be boring if you like watching Mahomes and the Chiefs make plays and put up a bunch of points. I don't see the Bengals being able to keep up on the road in KC, so boring if you're looking for a close, competitive game. We'll see, I hope I'm wrong.

Now that Brady has retried I am replacing him with Mahomes as the guy I never bet against.

The funny thing about that is Mahomes has only lost 2 times in the playoffs, both times to Brady. 2018 against the Patriots in the AFC championship game and last season in the Super Bowl to the Bucs.

KC getting away with two PI's in a row.

C'mon man

I usually would be fine with not calling that PI on third down, but after letting them literally grab Higgins arm on 2nd down it's pathetic
