This has been the case pretty much my entire life. It's just becoming exponentially more apparent with the rising salary figures.

Good ****

We're in a division with Justin Jefferson, Jameson Williams, and Equanimeous St Brown. We need the corners

I'm hoping Douglas wasn't a 1/2 season wonder but assuming he isn't and Stokes builds on a solid rookie season I'm really looking forward to our defense. Been awhile since I've said that. A long while.

Part of that equation is there's some decent depth in several positions on defense. The only position with a real drop off of talent after the starters is Safety. But with good to great corners and what really should be both a better pass rush and run defense, Safety depth, hopefully, is less of a concern

packers should be about 16-17 mil under... need to sign rookies and keep about 5-7 mil for in season moves.

So they have about $3 mil to spend. Landry just signed for that plus $3 mil in incentives. Maybe Julio or Fuller would take a similar offer. They could use another edge rusher. Not sure if there is anyone good available. Jerry Hughes just signed with Houston.

I think we're good with edge rushers. Gary, Smith, Garvin, Enagbare, Ramsey plus Wyatt/Walker situationally. Probably need another DB just for depth

Will Fuller plus maybe Kyle Fuller type would be a nice finish to an excellent off season.

From Packers.com: Jack Coco LS - signed
https://www.packers.com/news/packers-sign-ls-jack-coco

The Green Bay Packers have signed LS Jack Coco and released T Jahmir Johnson. General Manager Brian Gutekunst announced the transactions Wednesday.

Coco (6-2, 248), an undrafted rookie out of Georgia Tech, participated in the Packers' rookie minicamp earlier this month. He played in 39 games with two starts during his four seasons with the Yellow Jackets (2018-21), serving as the team's long snapper (2018-20) and also seeing time at tight end, where he posted five career receptions for 26 yards (5.2 avg.). Coco will wear No. 56 for the Packers.

From Packers.com:
https://www.packers.com/news/packers-release-k-jj-molson-2022

Packers release K JJ Molson

The Green Bay Packers have released K JJ Molson. General Manager Brian Gutekunst announced the transaction Friday.

Molson spent the last few weeks of the 2020 season and the entire 2021 season on the Packers' practice squad.

That leaves Crosby and Dominic Eberle as the current Kickers on the roster - for now.

Crosby either going to have a great year or just be totally done. There's not much inbetween for me. Would still prefer a kicker who can kick the ball out of the endzone, but with the packers thats probably too much to ask.

Maybe if his name was Denise instead of Dennis.

Absolutely agree on the kickoffs. I also agree this is his last rodeo - good year or not.

For Crosby, it's got to be a combination of ego-salvaging and payroll to come back after last year.
