This is why I would be doing all I can to trade down and pick up an extra first or two.

Last time we had pick 14 and traded to Saints for 27, a 4th rounder and a future 1st.

If we could do the same thing with Ravens or Giants I do it.....then I'd try again by trading one of our 2nds for a future first from another team like Houston or Tennessee.

Maybe they don't bite but I am trying. Caleb (barring injury) is going to be special and I'm taking as many opportunities as I can to land him. If Love sucks and we start out 0-5 (I hope not) **** it go 0-17.

I think Love is going to be good and the Packers are going to be better next season, but I don't disagree with the line of thinking. My thing is I'd be trying to to get into the Harrison Jr. and Bowers range.

Just saw a mock that had Will Anderson dropping to #7. That's the point where I'd be more than happy to move up.

The draft next year is SO good! Give yourselves every opportunity you can to get 1 of those players imo. Those who don't want to draft a TE early this year, I understand it. But yes Bowers is another great prospect. There is a way if a guy you want doesn't fall to you at 13 you can turn that and one of those 2nds into two 2024 1sts. If the Jets play Rodgers 65% of the time you have four firsts next year and more than likely one in the top 15 depending on who you trade with.

I agree that I believe Love could be good, but this would be a great backup plan and if Love is good you can use those picks to draft or move up for Bowers/Harrison Jr. or both.

I understand this is easier said than done because now Gute and Lafleur will be under the microscope and need to get players who will produce this year.

This is a trade up and get the guy you want draft.

I am a big Zay Flowers fan and think it's likely he's there with our pick, but if JSN is the guy use a 2 and go get him. The WR spot is literally bare behind Doubs / Watson / Touri, you cannot go into the season without more talent there for your new QB.

There are like 10 TE's in this draft and any of the 10 could end up being the guy you want. We can address that position later.

Like I've said before this guarantees we draft DL and let him sit and learn for a year.

I'm not a fan of taking a WR at 13. Especially a guy like JSN. I don't get the hype tbh

I don't like picking him at #13, but when I look at him I do see Adams. It's weird. Don't know how to reconcile it.

I would be really excited if we picked him. He put up like 90 catches 1,600 yards and 9 TDs playing with two receivers that were basically pro bowl caliber NFL receivers as rookies. They both also said they think he's going to be the best pro.

Yep. You could argue he outproduced two WR on his team that have already had NFL success. I believe this bodes well for him

Or you could argue he benefitted from the attention two first round WRs had, then didn't play when they left for the NFL.

They are pretty different style WRs honestly. Gun to my head tho, I’d pick JSN
