I'm fine with drafting Bijan if JSN is off the board, but I think I would prefer a trade down. I could see Tampa taking him at 19 or Chargers taking him at 21. Then any of Dallas, Buffalo, Cinci, Philly. Minimum I think you trade down to that 18 spot if that's the pick.

It's 2023 and we're actually discussing taking a RB early in the first. I'm disgusted by you guys lol

Rodgers contract forced GB to push cap down the road to keep an “all in” team together. This, unsurprisingly, leads to cap casualties and a rough cap situation. If you don’t want to call it rebuild, then re-tool is fine. Thankfully most of the guys they lost (Tonyan, Lazard, Cobb, Amos, Lowry, Reed, Lewis, Barnes, Crosby) aren’t star caliber players. But it did hurt their depth and they still had some holes to begin with.

They need to hit on the top 3 picks in each of the next two drafts in addition to Love being legit. Oh, and the D actually playing to its potential wouldn’t hurt either.

Many think he’s a top 5 player in this draft and he’s also a guy that is going to catch a **** load of balls too. Go watch his tape.

He’s not my first choice but I’m fine if they go that route. He’s a home run threat and can also play with either AJ or Dillon.

I don't think Gute does it, but Bijan would be an incredible pick.

I don't think he's gonna do it either but I also can't 100% put it past the guy who used a 2nd round pick on AJ Dillon to get tempted.

Why did you remind me that Dillon was a 2nd rounder lol.

I think this offense needs playmakers and he is probably the top playmaker in this draft on offense. That's why I would be ok with it, I don't think people really get how good of a route runner and difference maker Bijan is. Yet.

Could EASILY play him in the slot with Jones in the backfield.

I only know Bijan from what I read here, so that that FWIW....

I've mentioned this before: run some three back sets including Jones, Dillon, and Robinson(or other two-way back). Jones or Robinson plays the slot and there's the increased threat of RPOs, and Jones is a Yards After Catch guy (IMO), and by what I've read here, Robinson is the same sort. Couple that combo with Watson's speed threat and its a different enough look compared to other teams where an opposing DC has to work extra to counter-program.

Crazy?

Look how San Fran uses Deebo Samuel.

Absolutely zero reason Bijan couldn't be a souped up version of Deebo for the Packers.

If Bijan ends up being like a prime Marshall Faulk level dude, should anyone give a **** where he was drafted?

They need O-Line, but I wouldn't put it past a team like Chicago to take Bijan.

This same fanbase talked themselves into AJ Dillon being the next Derrick Henry.

Let's pump the brakes on comparing these guys to HOFers.

A fall for one of the draft's top players but he winds up in an incredible situation in Green Bay.

Given that this is the opposite of what we should be doing (IE, helping our new QB), I would expect us to trade up for Tyree Wilson.

Book it

Improving the defense also helps him. We should just be taking best player with #13. If BPA and need collide, all the better. Wilson is going to be a stud though.

I am a big believer in drafting BPA, but in an ideal world I do believe the Packers spend most of their draft capital trying to build around the offense and giving Love some weapons and long term protection.

Something like

13: JSN
42: Laporta
45: Mingo
78: Jaelyn Duncan or Matthew Bergeron

Or if JSN is gone then something like

13: Broderick Jones
42: Hyatt
45: Musgrave
78: AT Perry or Tucker Kraft

Would be 2 examples of really solid hauls that would set us up on offense for awhile
Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"
