Can't wait to lose/win on a last second FG at home against the mighty Jets. I'll go out on a limb and predict a 23-21 Packers victory.

Joe B already cowering just thinking about Zach Wilson throwing the ball 10+ yards downfield.

This game may be uglier than the Colts Broncos TNF.

Jet's aren't actually 3-2 good, but they do have some actually legit, explosive young talent. We **** around and we'll become the latest upset victim of theirs (though our excuse would be much less passable than some of the teams they've beaten).

The Jets have been pretty bad, but look like they could gel at times. Right now, GB too often looks discombobulated

The D needs to claim its identity. The crap is not working.
Ugh. I truly really thought this would be a top 10 defense.

Sadly, sucking is their identity.

For my sports happiness this year, feels like I'm going to have to pin my hopes on the bucks.

Fortunately it’s a long season. Plenty of time to fire Barry and start using the strengths of our defense.

Not sure the jets are any good, but if we F around again, they'll take advantage.
My timeline is blurring but was it barry that got called out last year or mike pettine previously? Its clear as day this defense isn't working when they play soft coverage.

Both. Pettine got called out in 2020, Barry got called out last year. MLF's inability to hire a DC with a brain is going to be his undoing here.

This last game is when I officially began to question MLF's ability to win a SB.

Obviously the Packers have looked like **** and teams rarely ever cover touchdown + spreads in the NFL, but Vegas just basically spits out a number from its efficiency ratings. That's basically what makes the spreads.
TeamRankings is one of the more readily accessible ones and it has Packers -9.5. Sagarin hasn't updated for this week yet but is probably similar.
It works quite well for them because it takes out the recency bias of, "wow, the team I watched suck the last X weeks is favored?!?!"
I feel like these tropes get a lot of play on here because we watch the Packers and Badgers lose some fluky games, are shocked when the ratings still think they're good, and they cover/win a bunch of games in a row.

Vegas spreads are all about trying to get equal action on both teams not necessarily that they think this team is X points better than that team.

Pretty down on this team after the last two games, but the NFL season is a marathon war of attrition, and it wouldn't surprise in the least if this is a "get right" game for this squad.
