In September a Packers/Dolphins Bucks/Celtics doubleheader was fantastic. Not so much now. But I'll be watching this one. Go Pack.

Early games are mostly done and Seattle, NYG, and Detroit all lost. If the Packers win out, they will be ahead of Detroit and Seattle, and they will need either Washington or NYG to lose 8 games.

Tom silverstin is on my flight to fort Lauderdale.


I'm going to see family, I guess he's going to tomorrow packers game.

Washington is giving playoff fans hope.

It is so crazy that we are this close to controlling our own destiny.

Even the Cowboys win helps. The Packers need them to have something to play for in week 18 against Washington. They will probably be competing for seeding, and might even still be in the NFC East chase.

Still a longshot to win out, but the offense is capable of playing a lot better the rest of the way. O-line and WR corps are currently much stronger than they were most of the year. Winning the next two and losing the playoff berth at home to Detroit would be such a fitting way to end to this season though.

ETA: So all 5 outcomes that had any bearing on the Packers went their way. Unusual luck.

Unfortunately, the toughest outcome the Packers need happens tomorrow. Wouldn't be shocked if the defense gave up 40. It just seems like one of those games where everyone on the opposing offense has season highs, or breaks some kind of record. This game comes down to McDaniel vs Barry, and I don't like that matchup

I worry if we make the playoffs, MLF will keep Barry but he also let Pettine go so maybe I’m being irrational

If they make the playoffs, it will be because the offense rediscovers some of its lost glory, not because of the defense. And IIRC his first choice was Jim Leonhard, not Joe Barry. Leonhard is available now, and his scheme would be a much better fit with their personnel.

Give me 3 games of Rodgers playing like an MVP, make the playoffs, and then trade Rodgers.

Put 10 bucks on Packers winning the Super Bowl yesterday. Will really like that to still be live after today.

We have a Packers/Bucks double header on Christmas, it's every boy's dream....lol.

Or we watch the Packers get eliminated from playoff contention and get a depressing reality check from the Boston Celtics all in the space of about 6 hours.

Joe Barry is getting coal after this start.

Why is Quay even in the game if he's not rushing the passer ffs? He's terrible at everything else and we're fighting to make the playoffs.

Is he good enough, thats the question
