Other thread almost maxed out, might as well start a new one.
no cap space and a lot of decisions to be made. It’s going to be an interesting off season. I will still look forward to September. Go Pack Go

First thing is for them to figure out what's Aaron's plan for next year. If he's not retiring, you've got to consider shopping him.
Barry's got to go.
I wouldn't be surprised if Gute got canned. A bit more surprised if LaFleur gets fired, though.

Disappointing end but I’m not going to cry about draft position. It was a fun run that fell short. Quay is a dumb ass but I think will be good. Wyatt showed some late season flashes. Watson is good. Doubs has promise. Tom and Kingsley. We had a good draft last year. Need to do it again.

Yup, it’s time. Rodgers fractured thumb can’t be overlooked but it’s time to move on. Maybe he retires, maybe traded. We’ll hear a lot of “should have traded him last year when his value was high”. I get it but trading a B2B MVP isn’t the no brainer some think it is/was. but time to look forward not back.
Love starts, get a vet backup, draft a QB in the middle rounds. See what happens. Take our cap lumps and get it over with.

How can an organization as prestigious as the Green Bay Packers not be able to hire the absolute best coaching and front office managers?

Lack of imagination and foresight. There’s only so many NFL jobs. This one should be coveted.
Who hires the president, the board? Who’s on that? Perhaps the structure is the problem.

Murphy did a good job with stadium renovations and titletown. He should have stuck to the business side. But he didn’t. He has the dumb setup of having both the coach and GM report to him. WTF. Murphy has said he is stepping down in July 2025 when he reached mandatory retirement age. Doesn’t mean the board has to wait another 2+ years.

Anyway not a great season, but will definitely be an interesting offseason. I can't stomach watching the Bucks right now either so guess I get to take a nice break from sports for a bit lol. Gotta get back to the fryers at Changs anyways.

We know Leonhard turned down the DC job once. Some say because of money, some say he wanted to stay a college coach. I have no idea how he’d do as a NFL DC but now that he’s out at UW I call him tomorrow morning. the buddy system has to stop.

I sometimes wonder if there is some push from the League for an owner equivalent at the top of the org chart. A mere lowly GM is just an employee in that frame of reference. Murphy doesn't have the personality for the role, or the judgement
